But how can he take Nolan off as it would probably upset "little" Kevin? CH is so nice guy and wouldn't dare to risk of upsetting our more "experienced players"
-
Can you name a player from our side actually having a good game?
-
Fucking keep the ball on the ground and stop punting it towards Carroll's head!!!!!
-
Are we trying to play fucking volley ball there...at least the ball is staying in the air pretty nicely
-
Don't worry they'll be coming straight down
-
Fuck me...even Kuqi looks like a technical player compared to us
-
Why pass the ball to a guy like 2 meters away under pressure when there's like 10 better options? Should learn to pass it into space
-
Wow...Swans are playing so much better! Our players don't know how to pass the ball at all C'mon Carroll...you clumsy clown

Kuqi will give some hard time for our central defence today that's for sure! Scary...considering Colo's physical side of the game -

We shouldn't rest any player today. We need a win today. Probably it was really needed, though. I hear you. But by all accounts Fitz Hall has looked good to, so hopefully no drop off in the defence. Good to have Colo back too. It's another central defensive partnership that have never played together meaning more disruption. How come it looks like Hughton has no preferred line-up? He keeps changing things every game. I know some of his decisions are fitness based but I thought Williamson played good so far and now he's dropped. Guthrie said he want to continue in the middle and now he's on the left, right? Hopefully it's not Lovenkrands as a winger as well... -
Why are we always struggling against these poor teams? CH got his team pretty much correct but they're just not performing away from home? right?
-
Very surprised with Hughton indeed tonight...A win would be great but to see Pompey defeat the Mackems woul really make my day!
-
Wow...quite attacking minded bench as well!
-
Its quite appalling really. Even the likes of Boro are streets ahead of us. In the last ten years, only really Taylor and Shola have come through to be regulars. Well...around 95% of all academy players of all top teams does the same! With Boro, West Ham or Villa being exceptions...name a Chelsea academy player who made it to the first team? or Spurs or whatever John Terry, Ledley King. True...but an eternity ago! How about in recent few years?

CH seemingly hasn't heard the saying "never change the winning team" as he always does that! Obviously he's gonna do it 4-5-1 with Shola alone up front who's pretty much the only forward lacking match fitness at the moment! Is there a way to include our golden triangle(Butt-Smith-Nolan) into the team tonight? I think not but CH will prove us wrong again and will find a way!
-
For once we got some luck in the draw! Unfortunately Netherlands won't drop points but Sweden aren't what they used to be! Great games coming-up against our biggest rival Sweden!!!! O0
-
So Boro are still playing him 51K a week then? What a waste of money and he's not even around!
-
Barton's return will give Hughton even more options to pack the midfield...wouldn't be surprised if he goes brazilian style 4-2-2-2 formation. Who need width anyway? Butt Smith Guthrie Barton Shola Carroll

A review of the season so far: Have we lost perspective?
Beezeri replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Our perspective have never been too realistic IMO! In the Premier League pretty much everyone were expecting us to be fighting for the TOP6 places with not so much better squad as the one we current have...realistic? I believe the problme is that we want to be entertained and watch our team play attractive football which haven't been the case for many season now. Under Hughton's defensive minded guidance we'll never gonna play attractive style and that's the thing what worries me the most Hughton always seem to change the winning team and yesterday was a perfect example! Why on earth go and chance our biggest treath going forward Jonas for the worst player in the squad(Butt)? -

More like nothing until the 85th minute. Yep...nothing's gonna happen even if it were like the prefect chance to give it a try for LuaLua as it's Hughton who's pulling the strings! No way we're gonna turn this game around anymore...so why not throw the youngster in?

Seems a very decent line-up and finally Guthrie in the middle! Hopefully Hughton will give the youngsters Ranger, LuaLua and Donaldson a chance -
Well...David James is about 40 or something
