I can't see us getting anything from these games as the group is way too tough. Nice to see Finland advancing into the final tournament for once though and the games should be fun to watch. Tim Sparv(DCM) is one to watch along with Jukka Raitala(LB) who was linked to Newcastle(actually had a week trial at the club) during the winter transfer window. Also 17 years old Teemu Pukki is an interesting one but he's already contracted to Sevilla...

They're dominating Portugese SuperLeague or whatever it's called and doing reasonably well in Champions League for not a giant club every year! So why should they be splashing the cash around? It's an ideal situation for the owners as they're probably making lots of money and the fans are happy I guess. That's the way we should be going for as well...buy cheap(proven youngsters from lower level foreign clubs) and sell on with a massive profit! It's not easily done for sure but it's possible

It's pretty much as above IMO! Shearer's on a huge wage as well but he's not in the playing staff anymore. Hard to believe it's 15 players but if any in the groups below can make it over 50K a week it's Enrique and Cacapa. There are like 27 players who are more or less first teamers and I guess they make 75% of the whole budget at the least. I'd be happy to ditch every single player from the above 50K group except Oba and Beye...

He's been here way too long and doesn't really require a miracle worker as his agent to get 30K a week in his new contract if our management was stupid enough to offer him one in the first place!

Yep...true. He has no reason to take a pay cut and I think we can afford to keep him at 35K or whatever it is but if we're going to make it finacially solid 35K is absolute max we can offer players in the Championship I think so most of our players' wages requires a huge pay cut

Are we really that stingy? HJK are asking around 200K-300K! Finnish players are very very cheap in general but they are just as shit in general(excluding a few exceptions such as J.Litmanen, S.Hyypiä, A.Eremenko) and due to an extremely low tempo in our league it takes like forever to get used to the Premier League.

Players will not take a wage cut for sure! S.Taylor might actually be an exception but never in a million years it's going to happen with our more "experienced and proven" shitheads such as Duff, Butt and the liest goes on... Their wages are way beyond ridiculous but it's pretty much a principle I guess. Would you take a wage cut? Our only option is to sell sell and sell but the wages are still a problem as most of our current players would have to take a wage cut elsewhere as well and a word professional isn't exactly the first word which pops up to my mind...if it was the case we wouln't be in this shitty mess in the first place!

Totally deserved to go down! Players apart from Taylor didn't even look sad or disappointed at the end and the lack of fight in the 2nd half was unbelievable!!!! I guess relegation can only be good for the club at the moment especially if it means getting rid of all the deadwood as Butt, Nolan, Duff, Owen, Viduka, Geremi, Barton, Coloccini, Raylor, Cacapa etc! Sad day for the fans though and even more so as it probably means that Bassong and S. Taylor will be gone as well

Duff and Oba have done well so far but the rest are just not good enough! Viduka started well but stopped playing and is only giving away fouls now(clearly a fitness issue). Our defenders just can't mark players and it seem that there is no communication whatsoever at all! Harper cannot be blamed for the goal and actually he's saved us a few times already...

OMG...what a midfield compared to ours! Creativity and pace in the same package which are exactly what we're lacking so badly! None of our midfielders would be even close to breaking into that mid4. Sad but true

Hmmm...I guess goal attempts were pretty much equal. 10-10 and if Fulham had only a few clear cut chances did we then? Can't remember any except Oba's post and Butt's poor effort from an wide open net!
