I can't understand how the fuck the mackems can say that our support was shite. I watched it on the telly and therefore I may not have the right impression, but there was more noise than ever before this season. There wasn't any total silence like some matches earlier, it seemed to be a quite high noise level throughout the match, but especially the last mins. Was proud to hear it, good support lads!

He has been great the last few games but I was very frustrated with him earlier in the season. His passing isn't the best and all the long passes he sent over the line all the time almost drove me mad.

John Arne Riise isn't good enough for Newcastle. His career is seemingly beginning to go downwards and he doesn't perform on the level he did for Liverpool a couple of seasons ago anymore. Buying him will be stupid.

Young Norwegian international and Rosenborg player Per Ciljan Skjelbred is an interesting prospect. I'm sure he has been mentioned on here before. Didn't have a good match tonight though, but has impressed several times when playing for Rosenborg, especially against Valencia. He plays in central midfield. Runs a lot and is a good attacking player. Will be worth a look at least. Keegan should send some scouts over to Trondheim when the Norwegian league starts this weekend. He is also rumoured to be a Newcastle fan and he shouldn't be too expensive, maybe £2-3 million.
