  1. I honestly think Everton are just a bunch of well managed, average to good players, and that you've only got by recently because of chaos at other clubs. Not the fact they are well drilled, very well organised and unlike Spurs and Newcastle have consistently performed.
  2. OK then Barton over Reo-Coker - Barton who basically did nothing last and has had nearly no preseason over Reo-Coker who enjoyed a very solid year last season. Campbell over Laursen and Yobo - Campbell was rubbish at the back end of last season and is starting to go down hill fast. Both Yobo and Laursen have been rcoks for Everton and Villa Coloccini - How can you rank this guy at the top when he hasn't played a single Premiership game and amny of the defenders below have been rocks in the Premiership these last few years Jenas - Your showing more bias here. Jenas was much better performer last season than Guthrie and Barton I could go on but I won't.
  3. Same here. Let's just say the rankings are very debatable.
  4. Gone for Villa but Everton would have been my 2nd choice. I really see no difference between Tottenham last year and this year as they still haven't recruited a DM and haven't made additions in defence.
  5. Urby Emanuelson is in Beijing along with Drenthe.
  6. This is gonna end up like the thread from last years open training season when a unknown player trained with us and people spent many, many pages guessing who it was.
  7. Smith and Amoebi I'd definetly sell. Obviously only one of the two if we were getting nobody in. They just add nothing whatsoever to the team, they are both completely and utterly useless.
  8. If Tottenham managed to pull it through, I would really be very envious of their position. It would seem like a rather fulfilling and exciting summer for them. Envious of the sgnings? Yes. Envious of the position there in? No. They were a top 4 team last year based on the amount of goals they scored, the problem was they conceeded too many. They haven't signed a defensive midfielder or any defenders yet so in my opinion they'll be as bad as last season.
  9. I don't see playing Man U first as a bad thing. In fact I'd be more worried if we were playing a side that aren't in the top 4. The way I see it our best eleven would strggle to get a result against them so I'd rather play them than play for example Wigan away where we should be picking up pionts but end up losing because were not up to scratch yet.

    Keegan on transfers

Kev! news flash you need about 6 Pal Don't think we do tbh. Just need an attacking midfielder, striker and some fullback cover and were pretty much sorted.

Hopefully those 2 or 3 additions are not including Coloccini.
  12. Won't pass a medical as his knee injury will keep him out until October.
  13. I'd probably go with this, only having Duff where Milner is, Milner where Zoggy is, and Zoggy where Duff is. Duff will be more useful cutting inside from the RM spot than Milner would be and Zogs is decent cutting inside from the LW position. Milner should be ok playing next to Guthrie in CM with more of a forward thinking mind than Guthrie would. I'd go with that except Ameobi for Smith. Smith has looked incredibly shite in a 4-3-3 everytime he's played. I'm certain Shola could be better than him in this formation. At least he would stay upfront. Shola's injured and won't play tonight.
  14. Atleast they got it sorted out after about 30 mins against Hertha.
  15. Lets be fair to Oliver, although he writes a lot of shit, he was spot on with this one and was the first to run with it.
  16. I don't think anyone on here would be unhappy if we sold him to Norwich for £500k with some clauses that we'd get more if he scored over a certain number of goals or got them promoted.
  17. If he's signed for 11.5 euros then he's not our record defensive signing. That's only £9 million, the same price as Woodgate. Not that it really matters like.
  18. He can tell us as many of those lies as he likes as far as I'm concerned.
