  1. Led by example today with a fantastic counter attack.
  2. And they are still 11 points behind Leicester.
  3. Probably a bit favourable but not altogether untrue. We didn't deserve to be 2 down at HT. And we really should have had two goals ourselves.
  4. Looks a player. Really hope he's given a good run between now and the end of the season.
  5. Can't kick the ball high enough and far enough. Quoting this for the lols.

    U23s & Academy

Fully except that we don't have the best academy going but some of the stuff in here is a bit rubbish really. Our academy isn't actually doing that bad I don't think. Dummett and Sa. Amoebi are both on the fringes of the first team. We've got a 16-year-old lad who has scored goals for fun at U21 level this season and has been on the bench the last three games. We've got a good few of the older academy players out on loan this year. All in all not too bad in my opinion (though of course I'd like it to be even better). Donachie sounds like an idiot - let's use it as an opportunity to strengthen the youth setup further.
  7. Pardew - “He did a lot of good work here, but the decision was the board’s decision.” So confirms that Kinnear was basically sacked then rather than resigning?
  8. Looked class in parts tonight. Seemed like a visibly tired though as the game went on.
  9. He'll be starting on Saturday then.
  10. Didn't think he did much wrong tonight (assuming that Ben Arfa came off because of injury).
  11. Sad we're selling him but I can understand it. What I can't understand is if the fee is £15.5million.

16-year-old Adam Armstrong in the squad for the Norwich game tomorrow. 8 goals for the U21s this season (and another 2 for the U18s).
  13. Pardew always being singled out for talking down the club so just posting this for info - http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/25866676
  14. Article makes some good points in my opinion.
  15. Hope he learns the lessons of the first 35 mins. Good to have another 3 points under our belts but could have been very different had Stoke not self-destructed. That said deserves full credit for getting us 33 points from 18 games.
  16. Poor first half. Average second half. Sammy easily our best player.

    Alan Pardew

Nawwwww, not having that. He is Ashley's stooge and is implicit in the advertising of our players being for sale. He is also tactically clueless and a two faced slimy bastard to boot. That is all.... Geuinely don't believe he's a proper Ashley stooge. To me it seems like he sings along to Ashley's tune because he knows this is probably the best job he'll ever get and knows it's all downhill for him if he's sacked. As for tactically clueless he's had one good season and one bad season. If he has a second bad season then his time has probably run out.

    Paul Dummett

    Did a good job today.

One additional point: You all know who becomes manager if Pardew gets sacked don't you?...

Feel sorry for the bloke to be honest. He's been royally stitched up in the transfer market, lost Cabaye on the day of the game and then has Taylor acting like an absolute idiot to get sent off. To be honest I thought he did a decent-ish job tonight. Changed it really quickly when he realised we were getting slaughtered playing 4-3-3 (unfortunately not quickly enough) and then got Hatem off when the game was lost. There were also a few signs in the first half of us playing some nice stuff. End of the day though the squad isn't good enough and he's probably going to get stuffed this season because of it.
  21. If I was a betting man I'd have a fiver on him being sent off.

    Steven Taylor

    Thick as a fucking brick.
