While Carr is a poor RB their is no piont in replacing him with someone we will need to replace in a year. Better to find someone quality than buy any old tripe.
-
If they do get him we should go for Johnson.

might be chelsea putting pressure on sevilla by looking at another right back? Well it says he's already in London and will have a medical in the next few hours. Sport is a Barca paper so should be ITK. Think it was Sport that said Newcastle officals were in Barcelona and said transfer would be done in 48 hours.
-
From my very rough online translation it doesn't seem like it is official, just a rumour at the minute. No quotes from Barca or player.
-
Christ on a bike. Think Amoebi deserves a chance as opposed to Viduka. We actually looked like we might have a chance of scoring when Shola came on.
-
Hope we drop Viduka, was very poor against Villa and wasn't that great against Bolton either.
-
Hopefully it will all be done and dusted by tonight then.
-
Jol should resign. Surely his position is now untenable.
-
Got to say it worries me as Oliver has been on top form with his exclusives lately. Although we hate to admit he was right about Parker, Dyer and Solano. I just hope he isn't right about this one.

I'm looking forward to finding out what these geysers are up to. Blatently stolen from .com. -
Was injured according to Allardyce post-match on Setanta.

Adidas? To be fair he only had 3% of Adidas so I wouldn't really call it one of his companies. -

In the Icelandic article it says it makes the club a whole lot more valuable. -

I imagine Shearer would take the sort of role Quinn has at Suncerland in that he would become Chairman and the face of the club but the real financial muscle would be with the Icelandic guys. -
Rosenior has said he wants to leave Fulham as well as Sanchez has said he's not a starter anymore.

Watch Falkirk's next game and see why, it's like a team of Bramble's Krul was absolutely shocking for Rangers 6th goal. Didn't exactly cover himself in glory with the some of the other goals either.
-
Really hope Spurs beat them next week as well. Nothing more I would like to see than Fergie get the sack.
-
Deco would be immense for us. He is exactly what we need, a midfielder who can create something as the only person who created anything really in the first two games was Milner. As for the talk of a RB like Belletti or Bosingwa, they are again exactly what we need, a RB who can go forward.
-
Milner or Rozenhal for MOTM. Milner was our only attacking player who looked like creating anything today and Rozenhal was very solid at the back. Also Amoebi looked miles better than Viduka today. Viduka did nothing today for us and when Amoebi came on their was a noticeable improvement. No more Zog at LB. Bring in Cacapa, move Taylor to RB and Carr to LB if Jose Enrique is still not ready. Get Butt out of the team ASAP for someone who can pass a ball and attack. Hopefully Emre will be back by next week.
-
You can't be successful playing a defensive system against a defensive team. You just end up with a stalemate.
-
Should have played a midfield 4 of Milner-Smith-Geremi-Zog, atleast we would have some creativity from the wings.
-
Not so bothered about the result but the way we played was so negative and we created next to nothing.
