I'll put money on him never being in the Newcastle 16 ever again.
-
You seen much of him prior to his Wigan days? Saw him play twice for Brum but my assesment is mostly based on seeing his form at Wigan.
-
I'd like to see Wilson Palacios brought into the midfield, looks a really good player and still very young.
-
Our game had no storyline to it. Every other one did.
-
Like how numerous people are now predicting he will fail. Wouldn't have been saying that if he'd signed with us. Never seen him play so can't judge him but thought it was amusing the swing in opinion here.
-
Looked very shaky today and was at fault for one of the goals. Was our worst defender against Reading as well, he put Long in 1-on-1 and gave the ball away a lot.
-
Don't rate him at all. Out of his depth.

Everyone is. Villa, Man City, Everton, Blackburn and Pompey have all applied. So no chance for us. I think Europe is extremely important for a player. Even Big Sam said last summer a lot of palyers were turning us down last summer bacause of lack of European football.

Great comeback! Were gonna win 3-2!

I'll have Diego now please.
-
Would prefer Diego. Although I can't say I have ever really watched Modric play.
-
Hmmm, a bit of Newspaper embelishemnt there? NUFC.com claim Modric wasn't here. While the newspapers could be embelishing the truth I wouldn't rely too heavily on NUFC.com either. There info seems to have been a bit off the mark this season e.g. Woodgate set to sign, despite Keegan coming out and saying it was never close to happening.

From the report on .co.uk 'That joy was short-lived and the Magpies were back on level terms within 60 seconds, Kazenga LuaLua firing a goal of the season contender with an unstoppable 25-yard strike beyond Adam Bartlett's despairing dive.' Adam Bartlett used to be a NUFC academy player didn't he? Who were they playing? Blyth Spartans. So in summary, our reserves are good enough to beat a Conference Northteam on penalties. As Sadler pionted out earlier that isn't neccesarily a true reflection. The Newcastle team are kids who aren't fully developed physically whereas Blyth are a team of men who will be a lot physically stronger.

Extremely harsh on Amoebi imo. Never really moved on and has been crap this season but to say he is worse than some of those listed is harsh.
-
Tragic. They played some simply brilliant stuff at the start of the season.
-
Not bad I suppose when you consider how bad we were before our little run of form.
-
West Ham lose, 10th could be in our sights if we win today.
-
I hope they go down. They are a nothing no ambition, crap fans team who add absolutely nothing to the Premiership.
-
Keegan quote in the Guardian this morning said N'Zogbia wouldn't be in the 16 unless someone was sick but he was travelling down with the rest of the squad anyway.

Wouldn't mind losing a meaningless game if it meant Man u lost the title.
