Back to the drawing board according to Craig Hope. No Murphy, Traore and Ojo

https://twitter.com/caulkinthetimes/status/870555480376135681 Yeah, maybe that wasn't the best word. Limited as in selling will be important, too. I think that sounds about right.

Signing Atsu is a no brainier. He will provide competition for both lw and rw. Rafa will still want another winger with Atsu and Aarons as backup
-
In Rafa we trust. I'm sure 99.9% of us me included thought Clark was an awful signing, but look how that turned out. If King rumour is true, then we have to trust Rafa judgement.

I'm really curious to see how Rafa lines up. Will he play his fave 4231 or will he think we don't have the players to do that and go 442 -
The bristol city manager who was sacked recently took training and pre match press conference and was sacked in the evening so it can happen.

Did the crowd really turn against those two apart from the odd occasion - no. Unfortunately you have a new age of fan who goes to the match mainly as a social outing. In the past all 3 and Ashley would have been hounded by the support instead now you have half arsed one off attempts which are not even supported by the vast majority. I know people won't agree and I accept that as each to their own but in my opinion every supporter who attends St James Park is supporting the regime and is not supporting the club. How any fan can attend and stay silent whilst the club is being ripped apart at an alarming rate I just can't understand. Support the team not the regime I hear sorry but bollocks as you are supporting the regime every time you pay your money to go into the devil's den. I wouldn't miss for nothing at one time and was a season ticket holder for over 40 years since I was a bairn but you couldn't pay me to attend with these cretins in charge who repeat the same relegation battle year after a year as a perverse gamble - this is not the club I love it's a club possessed. All 3 managers at any other club would have been sacked months (in Pardew's case years) before they finally left. What's the odds on this club getting relgated and McClaren still being in charge? I agree I think the fans should stay away bit if you do turn up give the regime hell

I don't understand why the crowd haven't turned on him yet. Just as bad as pardew and carver.

Telegraph reporting both Townsend and berahino deals are dead.
-
I find him clueless and there doesn't appear to be much of a plan. We beat Liverpool and Spurs but looking back I just think they were very poor and made us look better. For me those results saved McClarens job but nothing has really changed, we are playing badly and still in the bottom 3. I would sack him now before it's too late.

Really considering using my wildcard already

I wonder if the thauvin deal is dependent on Cabella agreeing to the move or if the 2 deals are separate?

Austin needs to play regularly and he won't at Liverpool, Chelsea or spurs. If we are serious about signing him we have advantage of offering guaranteed first team football
