    Steve McClaren

He's a big step up from Pardew and that's something I suppose. At least the football doesn't make your eyes bleed and during the Pardew/Carver years anything seemed better in comparison. he's the best we've had in years imo, and thats saying something.

Theyre not a 'big club' but he struggled at burnley quite a bit, I agree he could be class, but he needs another job to see how he does first imo.
  4. its darren lewis, but point still stands.
  5. I'm in Liverpool a lot, I know quite a few evetonians, some claim to know Rooneys dad etc etc, they all claim he'll go back in the summer.

Neither here not there that. You'd swap mcclaren for the best young English manager around? Well I'm staggered. We must have the only managerial headhunter in the game who doesn't watch football then. Eh? Give over man. It doesn't matter who or what they watch. Howe would want his head testing coming anywhere near us, and they know it.

  9. Goal aside, was shite, and he can cut the theatrics as well.

Was awful that, but his change on 60 changed the game. Did they have a chance after it? Much needed win.

Just seen the squad. Fucking hell.

Was short lived imo, but aye, he had the lot. Better than shearer? More talented, for certain, but nah, not overall, imo.
  13. It is. Totally agree. The kit change sticks in the throat imo, terrible move by them.
  14. I was all for it until the documentary tbh. If the people of Salford wanted higher league football they're surrounded by it, it's everywhere, from premier league to conference, all no more than 30 mins away. They have probably loved the club the way it was. I'm all for improvement and striving to be the best you can, but the kit change was totally unnecessary and unacceptable, it's not their kit to change for a start, and I think that probably signals the way it'll go in the future, with decisions based around £, the same way as the premier league is, basically. Hopefully I'm wrong. Nights like tonight are absolutely superb for the people of the club, no doubt, but I think them becoming a league club will take away everything that the fans who've been going for years enjoy.
  15. The kit change pissed off, I also don't get Gary neville saying 'we can have a pint and watch the game, where else can you do that? It's brilliant', yes, it is Gary, but why the fuck are you trying to get them to a place where it's no longer allowed, what's the point?

I agree with what you're saying, but its highly likely we'll sell ayoze next summer and armstrong will replace him, knowing these fuckers.

Dropped the best part of £20 mil in the summer tbf. Already had a canny solid foundation to build from as well, which was his doing, tbf.
