  1. Would Belgravia not just try and buy some of the land off the brewery if they wanted to use the land for building? I'm sure they could find a cheaper way of building without buying a small aomunt of land with an expensive stadium on it.
  2. Argh man, it's stupid kids again. That does nothing for the credability of the cause. They dont have a clue, theyre just charvs wanting to vent agression. It wasn't all kids, it was people of all ages, the kids have just as much right to call for Shepherds head as anybody.
  3. Protests put people under pressure to react, they'll do nothing if the fans just clap like a lot of performing seals. Staying away would send a class message, the next UEFA game might be the one to stay away from as I can't see us playing at home the League Cup again this season. That's easy for me to say as I'll be hundreds of miles away and unable to attend anyway due to work, I'll make sure my kids don't go.
  4. Well, you fooled Bluf.
  5. I've got my own suspicions as to who it was but will keep that to myself.
  6. So who then? The type of manager we need will not come within 100 miles of the club, unless playing against us. I'm not saying that he (Coubishley) wouldn't be better than Roeder, it depends where our ambitions are at this time.
  7. The fans did not tell Luque that he was playing for the shirt on Thursday only to take it back today, that was the manager.
  8. Can we say that Roeder was the wrong appointment yet? You can, he can't.
  9. Curbishley would just join a long list of failures for Shepherd. Shepherd Out
  10. Did Roeder say that Luque was playing for the shirt of Thursday night? The bloke is an idiot and like souness, a liar, he'll fit in well at our club.
  11. Mick

    Blame the players

No he doesn't, he will not have the Souness leaving effect.
  12. Spot on, Indigo but don't expect everybody to agree, some will still tell us that he's doing a good job, is better than Ellis and buys more major England players than the board pre-1992.

    Who changed a winning team?
  14. Both have to go ASAP, this club will decline more every day hes there. As someone at the match pointed out todays game should have been moved to tomorrow but Shepherd could only see the pound signs of Sky. Glenn has to go tomorrow and Fred as soon as possible, a change of ownership takes time it cant happen overnight but until it does we need out of this relegation battle and theres no way Roeder can take us out. What makes you think Shepherd is up to appointing a capable manager?
  15. Shepherd wouldn't be able to recognise that person, he's a serial failure.
  16. was that the guy on the crutch? he got a hell of a lot of abuse! just got back from the protest, i reckon it would still be going now if the horses hadnt came well done guys! The protest went on for ages although I can think of a couple of people who will say it didn't happen at all. Just about everybody who walked past the main entrance were singing as they passed, a few stayed while others kept moving while singing. Singing was also going on during the match but I don't know if it was heard on the radio or TV. Just think though, when we finally go down you can shoot off and buy your Chelsea top........cheerio. You won't be missed if it happens. Go on, defend Shepherd tonight if you can, fool.
  17. There was one crowd below 20,000 that season. You'll remember why that one happened too. The average home attendance despite that game was just under 33,000. That 46,000 turned up trying to get a voucher for the final is probably not too different from today when we get sub 30,000 crowds for Cup games but don't have enough tickets available for all our Cup finals. Somehow this is relevant to the performance of Shepherd/Hall, or a distraction more likely Err no. Are you stupid or something? I know you don't understand football that well so I'm used to you misunderstanding everything on that subject. Did I say this was in relation to the performance of those people you hate because they wouldn't let your organisation have a say in the running of the club? No, I didn't say that, did I? What I'm saying above is that Mick a bandwagon jumper worthy of nothing but contempt. I thought that was clear so I can't see how you're confusing the two. Weird. Is your brother due on to back you up with that?

  19. Dalglish was the opposite to what we had so tried to change everything that the team had been built around, I wanted Bobby Robson because I felt that he would tinker with the team and win something. Dalglish was also partly to blame for the collapse of Liverpool from regular league champions to also rans, Souness finished what Dalglish started. you SAY you did. Are you aware the club. Unfortunately, Robson didn't come and was under contract, so who would have been your alternative and under what criteria would you have picked someone to guarantee trophies ? PS...send this blueprint to 88 clubs in the country if it is so easy ... Yes I say I did. Robson didn't come and after that I couldn't have picked someone who could have guaranteed trophies, nobody can do that. That's no excuse for Shepherd getting it so wrong so many times. Robson couldn't guarantee trophies, as you indeed went on to say. Had Robson joined at that time and failed would you blame him or the Board. How I wish there had been a forum at that time. I don't really believe you, you see. ( That last bit is your get out from answering the first bit.... bluebiggrin.gif) Actually forum or no forum, I could still get on the internet at that time, I posted somethere Toontastic (phil) posted at the time. Google will probably show my thoughts on us at this time, including my feelings on Dalglish. Would you like to put a little wager on it? I could easily find something later on as I'm going to the match now, are you willing to have me prove it? I'll also prove something else if I'm right. Call my bluff, go on, go for it.
  20. I'm not defending the mackems but the first time they set the record was after splashing cash on shite, something we've become good at. Another thing, we've splashed the cash and we're not far off doing what the mackems did after they decided to spend. nah, you've got it wrong. We've been spending cash on far bigger shite in the 30 years pre-1992, proven by our results. When we managed to raise it in the first place, that is. We've also spent cash on shite to replace quality too. Top quality. England players. Surprised you dont' see that, as you say you experienced it. Do you mean Andreas Andersson replacing Asprilla? Do you mean Ian Rush or John Barnes replacing Ferdinand? Do you mean Boumsong or Ronny Johnsen replacing Woodgate? Do you mean Martins (so far) replacing Shearer?
