Back then he was just a face in the background, now he's actually fronting the club with the media. I think he's probably always been a cock, we just have rarely seen it. He was a cock with Bellamy and he was a cock with the fans at Southampton, other than that he's never really had a chance to show his true colours.
  2. You can cancel after the deadline although the club will probably not like it, I did last season and they did nothing. I stopped paying after my final payment for that season ticket and roughly a month after that deadline, I did it before any money went out for this season. I know others who made a couple of payments for this season before cancelling and nothing happened to them other than losing the money they had paid in advance.

Is this allowed now then? You did it with Pardew so I guess that it is.
  4. I'm sure it's next month, same as for the 10 year freeze.

It never used to be, I can remember getting them in January before.

I thought I'd feel shit and didn't. I miss it on non match days knowing that I'll not be going but the feeling of relief of not going is greater than the feeling of missing it, if that makes sense.

Wait until you miss your first game, it's like recovering from an illness. I felt worse on the run up to missing my first game, on matchday it felt like a relief to be not going.
  8. I hope the fat bastard has a long and painful lingering illness.
  9. I had assumed that he was coming to the end of his contract with him being quoted as saying he may leave at the end of the season.
  10. Of course it was a matter of money, Palace had to pay the money before they were allowed to talk to him which is something we look like we would never do. If we are after a manager we should contact the managers club, de Boer for instance is out of contract at the end of the season so probably wouldn't cost much. If we made the right offer to his club we would almost certainly be allowed to talk to him, not that we have the ambition to do that.
  11. I'm not sure it's true about de Boer, he's going to win something he's won a few times before so has nothing to prove, and he seems to be getting some stick back home.

I would love to see the crowd turn on Charnley and Ashley and they should.
  13. If the offer was right then they would want to come now, Palace wanted a manager and paid what was needed to get him and we could and should do the same.
  14. It's his problem and fault.
  15. The vote for Carver. http://i57.tinypic.com/16hrnfc.jpg

I'm delighted that the club is attracting so much negative press, we're now a nothing club and it needs highlighting. We are the opposite of what a football club should be. A football club should try to win every game in every competition and that should be the case no matter what level you play at. We don't even try to hide the fact that we don't give a shit where we finish as long as it means we're in the top division the following season.
  17. "We had a couple of bad results." Which two of the four weren't bad results? Prick.
  18. I cancelled mine after the deadline last season, they said I couldn't so I just cancelled my DD and that was the end if it. I still used my season ticket until the end of the season.

Aye, no real conclusions to draw yet. Let's ignore the last 7 years and wait another week just in case we've actually spent loads. Ill be very surprised if Ashley hasn't taken money out.

7th highest revenue in the division and our target is to finish 10th.

All we have learned is that those who fear the worst are probably right, we don't have any ambition in the slightest to be a proper football club and our only outlook is to survive. We're not a football club who strives to improve on and off the field, we're a business whose only targets are financial.
