I had assumed that he was coming to the end of his contract with him being quoted as saying he may leave at the end of the season.

Of course it was a matter of money, Palace had to pay the money before they were allowed to talk to him which is something we look like we would never do. If we are after a manager we should contact the managers club, de Boer for instance is out of contract at the end of the season so probably wouldn't cost much. If we made the right offer to his club we would almost certainly be allowed to talk to him, not that we have the ambition to do that.

I'm not sure it's true about de Boer, he's going to win something he's won a few times before so has nothing to prove, and he seems to be getting some stick back home.

I would love to see the crowd turn on Charnley and Ashley and they should.

I'm delighted that the club is attracting so much negative press, we're now a nothing club and it needs highlighting. We are the opposite of what a football club should be. A football club should try to win every game in every competition and that should be the case no matter what level you play at. We don't even try to hide the fact that we don't give a shit where we finish as long as it means we're in the top division the following season.
