  1. You're right, it was. How do you know?
  2. My Cousin lived on Leamington Road near the A46 and my uncle lived on Birches lane. My cousin and Tim played for Bilton and my uncle ran the team so he played a small part in Flowers doing well, I suppose.
  3. They both lived in Kenilworth and played for a team called Bilton.
  4. I used to watch him play in goal when he was a kid, he played in the same team as my cousin.

He's bought his own players at every club he's been at before he came here and his record of being a poor manager can be seen by everybody. Why is he all of a sudden, going to get better at it here? He doesn't make teams better and that can be seen from his record, if you want to ignore what he's doing here. He's not a good manager and that is unlikely to change. The last thing the club needs to do is give a shit manager like Pardew more power over anything, he's hopeless and people wanting him to well is going to change nothing. The best thing that could happen would be for him to turn into the manager some deluded fools think he is and all of us wished that he was, it's almost certainly not going to happen so he needs to go.

I find it insane that people think that our serial failure would do better if he could buy his own players, it hasn't really helped him in the past. It's as if some people have never heard of Pardew before he came here.
  7. He didn't use that one until October last year.
  8. Routledge with two. Not good enough.

Agreed, I was thinking more along the lines of window licker.
  10. We did get £10 million for Bassong, the Enrique fee is the only one that looks out to me from going through the full list.
  11. And if/when we don't It'll be another excuse for our failure. An "excuse" or an explanation? I'm getting tired of people pointing to injuries, lack of squad depth, lack of Premiership experience, etc. as ready made "excuses" for Pardew, as if he enjoys being in this situation where he's asking for certain things, and is not given them time after time, as it will presumably let him off the hook somehow. It won't. I'm pretty sure Pardew, or any manager, would prefer to be given the tools required to do the job, rather than having to rely on inferior players in the "eventuality" of injuries, suspensions, etc. We have played one match, and we're already three squad (arguably first team) players down for the upcoming matches, on top of the players that were sold this summer. Our squad is weak in quantity and quality if our aim is to finish in the top 8. Yes, our manager is poor as well, no doubt about it, but by continuously ignoring his requests for investment in the squad, and for specific attributes like Premiership experience, they are hanging him out to dry imho. [/rant] We did have injuries, just like every other team in the league last season and when we had injuries we should have still had enough about us to beat teams at home like Swansea, Reading and West Ham. Injuries were used as an excuse, just like tiredness was used as an excuse in October. Europe was used as an excuse when we were virtually fielding 2 teams a week. We also used the excuse of fatigue and a lack of match fitness in the same interview about the same games in the same week.
  12. i second that. he let everyone down You've let the forum down with that avatar.
  13. At least you've identified one of the 3 who sits near you.
  14. I've never had any problem at the match when giving Pardew stick, not a bit.
  15. Hopefully he's on his way to Dignitas.

Our top scorer from last season isn't going to help us this season, anybody not concerned is a moron.

He's claimed that he's going to spend more time coaching the players this season, well, we can all see the result of that brain fart.
  19. I'm not sure how Coloccini was one of our worst, in the first half I thought we only had 3 players and Coloccini was one of them along with Krul and Ben Arfa.

His comfort blanket, he knows nothing other than stopping the opposition, or trying to.
  21. See, a new excuse, he's blamed the transfer window.
  22. I thought that Taylor was at least as bad tonight.
