Pardew played him thinking he was fit so no blame can be put on him or anybody in this instance, it just seems like a good idea to check an injury out before giving a player the all clear.

In future it might pay the club to scan an injury before bringing an unfit player back.

Perch is an accident waiting to happen at rightback and Pardew thinks we missed him in midfield against Arsenal.

He did and he want's pants, we drew 1-1 and Suarez got the goal when Egrique had a long punt out of defence, he also played in that position and scored in the Europa League against Brugge.

He's a better defender than Simpson and is much better going forward.

I'm glad he's not going, he should play on the left of a front 3 against Everton.

We need 2 before Ba goes so if he goes we need 3 and if we were looking to do really well we could do with a couple of forwards, not just a Ba replacement.
