I don't think Ted ever scored for us, I could be wrong.

Club Brugge vs Newcastle United - 08/11/12 @ 6pm GMT (Live on ESPN)

Aye, really looking forward to it. I'm sure this is funny somehow, but I don't get it -
As I said before I'd love to see a diagram of every position that he receives the ball in a typical game and I'd be surprised if the majority were in the opposition half. Same for Cisse and Ba - two centre forwards whose average receipt position must be about 40 yards from goal. He's mainly a wasted talent at the minute and can still change a game.

Of course nothing will come of it. It's Liverpool. It wasn't too different to the one that Cabaye was retrospectively banned for.
-
I know, that's hardly a positive and that stat' will get worse the longer we go without winning, does that make every draw from now on better than the last?
-
Liverpool at Anfield have won one in six, more teams have won at Anfield than Liverpool.
-
It's laughable, the only person to claim it is the person being defended.
-
Ba just pulled up with what looked like the same injury as he had last weekend, I didn't see anything to cause it today and I didn't see Cabaye pick up an injury. Taylor looked to have nothing more than cramp and seemed OK at the end. As for Coloccini getting carded, that had little to do with Pardew but if we're inviting teams on to us we're going to pick up more cards than we would if we were going at them which is fairly straight forward and obvious.

When fate deals him such a rough hand. Fate had nothing to do with anything today, everything happened for a reason and it was all within our control.

I'm not having it both ways, we can't look at two games and think our season has turned. We've got a point today against Liverpool and I'm OK with that. Getting away from our historic record, we've probably played against the worst Liverpool team that I've seen for close to two decades.
-
Hard facts AND a hint of sarcasm. OK, hard facts. We've got 14 points and are sitting in 10th place after 10 games, last season after 10 games we had 22 points and were 3rd in the league. We hadn't played the best 2 teams in the league at that point, either. We haven't over the last 2 games either.

He was facing away from goal, very few players would have even got that anywhere near the goal and that was his best chance.
-
We will finish miles ahead of them, because we've got better players, our game plan is the same.
-
We play the same type of game as them and like them are happy to get a goal and try to defend it.
-
The parallels are crazy, the big difference is that we have better players who can change games and they don't.
-
It's frustration and I can understand people getting frustrated watching us.
-
We were man. Are you f***ing blind or something or just plaid stupid?! We could barely sting 4 passes together and were outplayed by an extremely average Liverpool side. We scored just before the break but rather than come out after the break full of spunk, we came out all meek and sat back. We played so deep the likes of Cisse were operating well inside the half-way line.
-
The lack of poositive play is the reason we're picking up the cards, you foul when tackling, not being tackled.
-
I thought that he got the starting 11 about right and had very little to do anything other than put that team out. Liverpool started very well for 10 or 11 minutes during which time I have no idea what we were trying to do. After that we played some reasonable stuff against a Liverpool team who look shit. I don't think we ever controlled the game for more than a few passes at a time. The first two changes were forced and I would have probably brought Ferguson on as he can put in a really good ball from out wide. I have no idea why Cabaye came off but it didn't change the game either for or against us. Our football still isn't good but I'm still happy with a point from the game, all in all I'm not going to have a go at Pardew for today.

Coloccini should walk for what he did, how Sterling got away with his tackle on Cisse without even a yellow card I'll never know.
