The club has to do something, the FA are looking into what went on at Darlington and we may have just done enough to escape a fine. The people to blame are those who ran onto the pitch, not the club.

That's one of the best posts ever in a weird sort of way.

    Season Tickets

    Probably wise.

It's easy for you to say considering that you wouldn't have to change it.
  5. He's looked good enough when I've seen him.

Whoever it is, he's a twat.
  7. We might have ended up with the Man City owners if we hadn't got Ashley because we would have been financially well and truly in the shit by the time they were looking for a club. Hall and Shepherd would have been even more desperate to leave at that time because they had no way of financing the club as we had the credit crunch which made borrowing almost impossible.
  8. He knew about most of the debt anyway, what he didn't know was that he'd have to pay off the £44 million loan within days of buying the club. He also didn't know that we had spent the Northern Rock and Adidas money up front yet still showed it in the accounts as future income.
  9. That was also my biggest problem with Hughton and it will only be worse under Pardew. We've already seen that he'll not pick the kids when we fielded a strong unmotivated team against Stevenage in the Cup.

He'll be more involved with the tasks you think he'll not, than the ones you think he will be involved with.

Llambias runs the club on a daily basis, stooge or not.
  12. What benefit do you think the club gained from the "fantastic free advertising"?
  13. Yes because that's all the free advertising it worth, -£42,250.
  14. Sorry, it's not free, we paid £42,250 for the pleasure. In the 2009 accounts, Note 23 says that "During the current and prior year, advertising and promotional services were provided to companies associated with Mr MJW Ashley, the ultimate shareholder of the company's parent company, St James' Holdings limited. No consideration was paid or payable for these services and the cost associated with the services in the prior year was £42,250."
  15. At a guess, it will make no difference. The club will still sell players so that it can improve its facilities while Sports Direct gets the free advertising.
  16. Apart from all of the free advertising all around the ground.
  17. 3 years ago Ashley said that he was prepared to put up to £20 million a year into the club. At that time his loans were £110 million, they are now just below £140 million so he still owes us £30 million.
  18. Weren't we told that our finances going forward was close to breaking even?
  19. Pity the people making the decisions get so many of the big ones wrong we got relegated because of them.
