Are you seriously saying that Ranger had a negative effect on us? That's laughable if you are as he did nothing wrong at all but we gave him very little to work with. I think we went slightly off the boil when Simpson went off a few minutes earlier as Perch made no effort to get forward.

He was outstanding again today and looked more likely to score than our forwards did at times.

Where did I say that? He was to blame for sticking with two forwards for 76 minutes who were having poor games.

He was brilliant today, as good as Tiote was against Arsenal.

I think he was the difference between 1 and 3 points today although you can't fault him for leaving Best and Lovenkrands on for so long when you consider how much they cost us.

He was going mad with Lovenkrands because Jose played a ball in and Lovenkrands was standing and waiting for the ball to drop at his feet instead of going for it.

That was as frustrating as hell, we outclassed them for 99% of the game and failed to capitalise on our dominance because our front 2 were toothless and we didn't change anything until the 76th minute. That was 2 points dropped and we didn’t get the result that our domination deserved, we dominated a game totally and we did it while carrying a midfield passenger and playing the toothless forwards. 7 outfield players played really well today and deserved more than a single point for the effort that they put in.

I hope that Simpson is injured, only because that will be the most stupid substitution if not.

It looks like it but he keeps drifting inside a lot.

The forwards have had better service in this game than most this season. Enrique has been outstanding and we could live to regret not making anything out of the quality balls into their box. Our two forwards have been really poor when they've got into the Blackburn area.

Fulham was a poor team performance and nobody would have got another game if we'd picked players based on that performace.

That could be said about every footballer.

He might not, you're right, I fail to see what happens in training to suggest that Ranger will only be any good if he comes on at a certain time. I have seen in actual competitive games that Lovenkrands is a weakness. Ranger looks better at everything Lovenkrands does except that he hasn’t as much experience and he’ll not get that sitting on the bench.

He might actually effect it for longer if he starts.
