Gosling has played a few minutes in many months and has swelling on his recently injured knee so he's probably a long way from playing regularly and Ferguson has hardly played.

Loaning him out at this stage is stupid as he can do a job for us when needed.

I have read the thread and keep hearing about problems with Ranger but nothing specific.

If Pardew has laid the law down because Ranger has been late once than I hope that he does it with everybody. As for his apparent attitude towards training, what is wrong with his attitude?

If Pardew is having a go at Ranger for something which happened before Pardew arrived then he's a bigger prick than I thought.

Ranger doesn't have a persistent time keeping problem, Pardew confirmed that last week.

Even after today I would replace Nolan if we could get somebody who brought more to our game. I know getting somebody to score the goals he gets is almost impossible. I just think we could do with somebody who does more over 90 minutes and Nolan has probably only got 2 more seasons left after this one.
