  1. I haven't listened to John Anderson before today but he's got us sussed, which more than can be said for Hughton.
  2. Carroll doesn't know how to control the ball with his 50p head, he can connect with the ball but after that it's anybodies guess where it's going to end up.

    Ronaldo

The two posts from Ronaldo remind me of the time somebody slated Souness while calling him a top manager.
  4. So your post was pointless and Harper is just like every other player.
  5. The brutal reality is that he's playing on merit and he's the least of our worries.
  6. James is an exception, a few play to a good age but most don't.
  7. Harper is 34 now so I doubt Krul needs to worry too much.
  8. Hopefully one of mates will tell him once he gets out.
  9. I doubt that singing this is going to bother the players too much.
  10. He hasn't been seen since last going to the toilet, he's probably been locked in the bog by one of his flat mates.
  11. I'd take him, he'd be in the opposition goal mouth before the rest of our team had realised where the ball was.
  12. I think the defence probably are Premier League standard, I don't think those in front of them are though. I think we're a full midfield and a full forward line away from having a team which is Premier (mid) League standard.
  13. I remember you saying something along those lines. Edit- http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/index.php/topic,60651.msg1824119/topicseen.html#msg1824119 Priceless.
  14. Allardyce had by far the easiest games and managed less than 1.25 points per game and he didn't take over a squad who were seriously lacking any confidence. Keegan managed 1 point per game with a much tougher run of games.
  15. We didn't lose them all and that's why we stayed up, Allardyce wouldn't have tried to beat Spurs away and I doubt he'd have had the balls to send out the team which managed to put 3 past Reading, we'd have gone looking for a draw.
  16. You don't see how a sequence of tough games could have taken us down, that says it all really.
  17. I can't say for certain that he would have taken us down but I can't see how you could say we had no chance of going down.
  18. No but we did have our best away win under Keegan who had a horrific set of games to begin with and he inherited a team which had just drawn away to Stoke and lost 0-6 against Man U.
  19. Fulham finished 1 place above relegation and were equal on points with Reading who went down with a worse goal difference.
