Kinnear was very poor when he replaced Owen with Jonas who was then played through the middle. We were much better in the 2nd half and could have gained a point if Duff had balls and didn't bottle a goal scoring chance or we'd got one of the two penalty claims.

I'm not sure that he could adapt. He was arrogant which is not always a bad thing but for him while here it was his biggest flaw as he was unable to change when things were clearly not working.

I agree with most of that, I thought that he was about as good as we could get at the time. It's a pity that he turned out to be shit, Derby away is his epitaph. The man was a very poor manager while here and he only has himself to blame for that, he was way out of his depth.
