It does look like it came down to one of Keegan or Wise going and the club made the decision that it wasn't going to be Wise, pathetic.

Keegan could have easily expected to win this battle and come out stronger, without knowing all (or really any) of the facts I think he's been let down by Ashley who should have backed the manager he brought to the club. I'm assuming that Keegan had a justifiable grievance with at least 1 person within the club. Worse than that, I think the fans have been let down badly by all concerned. Jesus, I’m confused.

I agree that Keegan didn't want the job, not with the constraints put in place. For the first time in this debacle I'm going off Dennis Wise big time as I'm starting to think he's at the centre of all this. I don't care who the manager is, he should have a Vito when it comes to players coming and going.

It also ignores the whole culture change from defend at all costs to go out and win.

Some people live by principles, I wouldn't criticise anybody for that. Sometimes you've got to do what you think is right to maintain pride in yourself.

Big if's here as none of us know what has gone on, if Ashley made a mistake then he's made it worse by not correcting it during the last 2 or 3 days.

If they've tried to do something behind Keegans back then he's justified in his actions, pity Bobby, Souness and Roeder hadn't done the same thing when they had players either forced on them are sold without them giving the green light.

Nothing should be done during the game if it has a knock on effect with the players.

Singing Keegan Wonderland wouldn't do any harm at all and might lift the players at the same time.
