According to who?
-
At a cost of £7.5 million.

He wouldn't be hounded out, his ego would tell him the booing was applause.
-
No, I think I slept through it.

Who was the last English manager to win a trophy in this country?
-
I'm clutching at straws here but we'd have to clear it with Chelsea before appointing the special one, doubt it though.
-
I'm glad it's over, I'm sure they'll appoint the best they can get and I'm also sure they'll back whoever they bring in. Thanks Sam, you just couldn't adapt.

One of our biggest mistakes in years was buying Owen instead of going for Anelka.

The last line saved that post.

I can't understand any Newcastle supporter checking what the mackems are up to, the only time I ever look at the mackem forum is when a link appears on here. I've got nothing in common with the mackems and try to avoid associating with them if possible. I've worked with quite a few, possibly hundreds of them and can honestly say that I could count the decent ones on one hand. I rarely comment about them on here because as far as I’m concerned they’re irrelevant and as far as football goes they haven’t been our rivals for many years.

It doesn't seem too far out to me.

I hate it when people say give him time with nothing but crap to back up the argument, no matter who it is we have as a poor manager at the time. We were told that when we had Souness and we were told the same with Roeder. If you've got a manager who is not working then why allow things to get worse before reacting?

Correct.

I can see what you're trying to do here. :booty: Another bored thread.

Is that yes or no?

Who else would get our support with our lack of achievement?
-
Are you happy with our current situation?
-
You get nowhere in life if you set your worst achievements as your standards, just because we've been worse than we are now doesn't change what we are now. 5 years ago we were playing in the Champions League, that’s what we should be looking for, that should be the standards we look to emulate and we are nowhere near that at this time. I also think some older fans have poor memories because I can remember chants of “Harvey out” and I also remember sitting in the East stand against Sheffield United in a friendly when Jack Charlton was given so much stick that he walked out of the club. I’m sure you’ll remember chants of “Westwood is a pirate” reverberating around the ground. The fans today are no different to what they were a few years ago, except that we’ve had better times and want them to return. I’ve been all over watching Newcastle and will have seen us hundreds of times in the old second division. We’ve played shit during those times and made that known, I was at Chelsea when we lost 6-0 and at 4 we had our own fans chanting “we want 5” which then changed to” we want 6,” I don’t remember anybody tempting fate and asking for 7. I didn't feel any less of a supporter at Wigan when I was singing "we're shit and we're sick of it" than I did when I was part of a sit down protest in the Leazes the last time before they knocked it down and we were relegated, I sang like mad in support of the club that day but I wasn't a better supporter because of it, probably more naive than anything. If people are happy with our current situation then that’s up to them, I’m not and I’ll support the club and team but I’ll not pretend we’re anything other than poor at the minute.

Hi Timnufc22, I sit in the middle of the Gallowgate & he has looked s**** from where I am sitting so if you want to swap seats drop me a PM before the next home game.
-
I think he'll get a run of games now with some of the players going off to Africa.

If one is a relative then they both are but they like people to think they hold the same views independently so they can back up each other without anybody knowing why they both share the same views.
