Never putting Anita in the same bracket as Scholes but everyone knows that he was one of the worst tacklers ever but great at everything a box to box midfielder should be .

It's really like "Oh, look the transfer window is closing soon so don't forget to big for our Ca-bye" Said that a number of weeks ago about Pardew bigging up Cabaye saying not for sale and at the time he wasnt even being mentioned by other clubs just saying "come and get him"

  4. Just got back from Tunisia today and went around all the Superfake markets and must say not a sign of any top of ours of any description from any season, all the usual suspects mind you from England. How our stock has fallen since Sir Bobbys black and white army :'(
  5. Where is that in the Mirror article dave or just using old quotes It's what will be thrown at us later down the line. Ashley has no intention whatsoever of pushing the club towards Champions League qualification. Did a at that one must admit but when it all goes tits up he will use that one on us

I'm as anti-Ashley as they come, but even I'm not sure that is the right approach. He's proven before he's an incredibly spiteful character. We've vented our frustration with his policies before, and it hasn't changed things for the better, quite the contrary in fact. The only way we ever get rid of him is by being as attractive as possible to potential buyers, which means unfortunately continuing in this sort of "marriage of convenience" we have been in for the past few years. I'm afraid anything else is just going to be counter productive, as he seems the type of cunt who would quite happily demolish everything that is good about us to get back at us for walking out of line (sell our best players without replacing them, rename the stadium back to SDA, that sort of thing). As bad as it is, things could get a lot worse if Ashley goes from being indifferent to downright destructive... i said just as much a few weeks ago and got mocked with the "Ashley will sell our best players out of spite" ,he could easily do this its his play thing and he can do as he pleases to fuck us off if he wanted to .

Because our club do not communicate it leads to all sorts of speculation. Would save them a load of hassle if they just told the truth thats all it takes communication

    Alan Pardew

From The Journal Pardew will today return home wanting to know why director of football Joe Kinnear has failed to complete a single signing. The manager fully expected at least one, but most likely two deals to be done by now and yet his club remain the only one in the Premier League to have made an addition to their squad. Pardew will demand to know when, or if, business is going to be completed on the two strikers he has openly admitted the squad needs. This is Kinnear’s remit and he needs to deliver imminently or he will inevitably come under huge pressure from the supporters. Respected French sports newspaper L’Equipe yesterday revealed Tottenham have enquired about Lyon striker Bafetimbi Gomis, a player Pardew felt would be a Newcastle player by now. They believe the London club, who could be about to land a windfall with the sale of Gareth Bale to Real Madrid, have tabled a bid of around 8m for the 27-year-old. Gomis had made it clear that he wanted a move to Newcastle – with Aston Villa another interested party – but the fear now is Tottenham’s financial muscle would push them into front of the queue for the player. Jean-Michel Aulas, president of Lyon, made it clear last night he was desperate to sell Gomis. Speaking on French television, he said: “There have been several attempts made at a transfer; to Rubin Kazan, Istanbul and, more recently, Swansea “There have been several attempts made at a transfer; to Rubin Kazan, Istanbul and, more recently, Swansea “If Lyon must lose a lot of money from this deal, then it will.” Darren Bent also revealed publicly that he was still unsure whether he would be heading north or south to Fulham. An Aston Villa fan on YouTube posted a clip of him admitting as much yesterday. Both players up until now have made it clear that St James’ Park was their preferred destination. The mystery is why Kinnear has failed to land either player; instead much of the past week has been focused on trying to persuade Mick Harford to join him as his assistant at the club. Pardew has made it clear that he is in charge of the team, while Kinnear and club secretary Lee Charnley are responsible for actually signing players. This is a massive few days for Kinnear, who simply must get at least one transfer over the line. In yesterday’s Journal, Pardew admitted this next few days were vital in terms of signing players as agents realise time is running out to put their men into new clubs. The fact Pardew has spoken publicly about both Gomis and Bent is a strong indication that he felt confident they would be his – and, of course, that could still be the case. Right fucktard Kinnear get your finger out
  19. 74 it was zaire defence trying to organise a wall shambolically against Brazil and a player running up and kicking the ball away as Brazil tried to take the free kick ?

  22. http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11678/8835342/transfer-news-newcastle-boss-alan-pardew-waiting-on-update-in-striker-search A LITTLE light?? Understatement, put it in the dictionary... Pardew covering himself well there " dont blame me its those other cunts looking for the club mobile"
  23. A winger that can run and whip a ball in sounds like a bloody good foundation for a player to me, like. Needs to strengthen up a bit and work on his decision making but that's true of 9 out of 10 players his age. Of all the young ones he's the one who looks most likely to make it in the PL, for me. I agree on this as what i have seen of him he is bloody quick and whips a good cross in ,if he got the same game time as Jonas than he would be a first team regular
