What people don't realise is that even if that Will is 100% being honest, he's still a sad cunt for claiming the adoration for being an ITK. Why not keep it to yourself? I mean I'd tell my mates, I might even tell you cunts, but I wouldn't create a twitter account dedicated to it.

I wouldn't worry about our ability to sell a player. The reason Howe is reluctant to sell players is because he wants to see his squad improved first. Absolutely no point in selling Miggy unless there is a clear plan and replacement. If we get Guehi, that will at least give Howe confidence in the squad in other areas and they can refocus going into the last couple of weeks. I've no doubt there will be a signing further up the pitch (aside from the SU lad), but we might have to be flexible on the profile.

"Newcastles first bid submitted, situation ongoing" sounds better.

Who changed the title? Negative cunts. Surely Ornstein is the one to quote.

If Palace weren't willing sellers, they wouldn't be talking. I wonder if Mitchell is on good terms with Palace because it seems weird to me that Palace are so receptive. Mind 60m is the sort of money that is game changing for Palace. They will be able to get 3/4 players off the back of it.

It seems like Palace are openly negotiating with us and Guehi has likely told them he wants the move. There's not much going back from Palaces end. Them pulling out now would cause them a big problem. Our only worry is another side coming in but it's not looking likely, besides hopefully he's got his heart set on seeing bridges.

Always said you were sound Shadow Puppets.

Can only assume Bowen has a release clause or something. West Ham are spending shit loads themselves, so they may be bracing themselves for an exit.

Someone does that in the UK Politics thread.

I think this would be a very good signing because he's a very good player. I'm not sure the perfect signing actually exists and on that basis I don't often hold signings to that high a standard. Given we paid 45m for AG who was "shite", it doesn't seem unreasonable that we would spend 50+ on a current England starter who's possibly got 8+ years to give us. Call me an absolute crazy daisy if you like though.

I definitely believe that it will get done quickly or not at all. Palace won't be easy to get a deal from.

ITKs in the mud again.... That's neat, that's neat....

He's worth every bit of 60m+ plus some add ons in 2024.

It's a smart solution. We will spend big on a RW.

All of the things can be true at once. He could have been interested in a move to Liverpool. He could be happy at Newcastle. His agent could want him a new contract and is stiring the pot. Also worth remembering that if we were to reject a 75m bid for him, for example, then his agent will want him to get the wage of a 75m pound player. We have to pay him what he's worth. He should get money just below Brunos.
-
If Howes people and Mitchell think this lad has potential, I'd wager they arent a million miles away. It's also a great opportunity to develop a player, and even if he's not a star, we could most probably make a profit on the 15m we are likely to pay.

The thing I notice about that hattrick highlight is that he is absolutely rapid. Could be handy for pressing.

Fair point. Looks like the plan might be to keep Wilson. Of course if Wilson does leave, nothing stopping us going again.

Certainly physically up the job of our 2nd/3rd choice striker. Hopefully Eddie can give him the edge in terms of goal threat.
