Anything that comes out of the Italian Press needs to be taken with more than a pinch of salt. It's as likely we will sign Thiaw, as it is that we are not even interested in him.

I wasn't having a moan either by the way, I'm sure they are working on things, my point was that in all time I've supported Newcastle this is the quietest I've ever seem the rumour mill. What's really strange is the lack of any movement, incoming or outgoing. There's just nowt.

In the games that he started for us, it felt like he was our best player in about 90% of the games. The very few rocky moments he had were far outweighed by the sheer brilliance of his performances.
