I am a bit nervous but I can't look past Isak tearing them to shreds.
-
I'll be surprised if the team isnt: Dubravka Trippier Schar Botman Burn Longstaff Bruno Joelinton Miggy Isak Gordon Mackems are going to fucking hate Gordon.
-
Easy to forget we will have 6k fans there. It will be like a home fixture man.
-
Ah yes it's January, time to get excited by media created stories and then let down by the same media over the stories they created. While I'm at it, I'll get the razor blades out.
-
Bit of life in the old dog though.
-
Joelinton must go into the centre.
-
Longstaff is invisible.

You new like?

From a fucking throw in man. So simple.

Fair play to Barkley. Player reborn.
-
Was more thinking about signing players because we've lost a few games, rather than money.
-
I somewhat agree with @Geogaddiin the sense that its important to have a strong medium term view. There's no use us panicking because we've had a shaky period and start making mistakes. In short, I'd rather us not spend at all, if it meant we could refocus on key areas in the summer. In no order: CF (someone young who can step in when the crock twins are out) RW DM CB

About where I'd imagine we are at to be honest. Some slight wriggle room for a signing. Hopefully a few commercial deals will start seeing us be able to flex in the summer.
-
Chelsea spent 110 on Enzo, who's not as good as Bruno. Although, realistically we are looking at Real/Barca/Man City for Bruno, Barca can't afford him and City don't need him right now. Real is the only real possibility
-
The publicly available ones are never up to date. I wouldn't mind seeing a breakdown of where we are at. Given who we have running the club, I'd be shocked if we were THAT close to FFP restrictions. I'd suggest that they will always leave room in January for a signing or two.
-
I'm still convinced FFP is a smokescreen of sorts or at the very least a "line" the club is using to keep prices down. My gut tells me that it won't be Kalvin Phillips but an attacking player, since Eddie has cried on about not having attacking options. We won't be afraid of hoying 40m on a player, provided its someone we have scouted long term anyway. There definitely won't be any panic buying.
-
Played a back 5 at Anfield before. Not saying its likely but he will have thought about it.
-
When I see people suggesting Bruno is leaving in the summer without any evidence...
-
Also, if Eddie wants to experiment, Anfield is the day (Gordon and Miggy are fucked): Dubravka Schar Lascelles Botman Trippier Livramento Longstaff Bruno Joelinton Isak Wilson Give Isak a free role to run the channels, which is where Liverpool are weak.
-
Bizarrely, I think this is the perfect tonic... for a few reasons. 1. It doesn't derail a good run of results. 2. When confidence is low we might as well get Anfield out of the way. 3. Playing a quality opposition often raises focus/standards going forward. 4. There's zero expectations. Looking at it, this is our hardest fixture in the second half of the season (Emirates aside). Get this fucker out the way and the only way is up.
-
Signing a CM also gives is the option of playing Joelinton out wide.
-
I've said before that he never suited City. Much more suited to Klopp or Howe.
-
7.5m is a big out lay for a loan but if we can get a decent deal beyond that (if the loan works), then it won't seem a lot.
-
The best part about Kalvin Phillips is that he's perfect for our system, he's all action. (That's provided we can get the Phillips of Leeds).
