You've summed my feelings up. I feel like hes just making all the wrong decisions.
-
Just oozes silk. Looking forward to seeing how Eddie develops him.
-
At one point he overtook Joelinton to track back. hed been on the pitch 60 mins longer.
-
Aye its nice to see him still class. It's also nice we dont need him.
-
Hes had two poor sloppy passes but other than that hes been decent. You could argue from a wing perspective hes been better than Barnes. However Barnes has Burn on his side and Barnes is a massive goal threat.

I dont want rainbow numbers, last thing I want to do is give other fellas the wrong idea. I dont want have the humiliation of being rejected by both sexes. Im with Jiggy, hard men like us dont like that sort of stuff. Colours should only be combined to the value of 2... unless its the union flag and you can have 3 colours.

"Overpayed". Tickles me every time.

Just to add to the above, Thiaw doesn't look tired at all, fucker never stops. I dont see any issues whatsoever with him starting. Id start him at right back and give Trippier a rest personally.
-
Osula, Barnes, Elanga, Ramsey, Tonali, Joelinton, Schar, Ramsdale are all either fully rested or have had significant rest in the last couple of weeks and should be able to give a good physical output IMO. Theres just no reason to not have them in the team (unless Howe decides he wants to go even stronger and thinks a few others still have plenty in the tank). Trippier, Burn, Thiaw and Botman are the ones who there are question marks over. Schar is fine to come in, since the standard barely drops when he is in the side. But IMO playing Krafth or Lascelles would be a huge downgrade against a good side in Spurs. Ive no interest if Krafth or Lascelles are good lads who should get a game, we need to be ruthless and only play them in an absolute emergency. Both have been dependable in the past but Krafth looked miles off it last time he played and go knows where Lascelles levels are at.
-
We cant have Krafth and Lascelles in the back 4. Id have neither personally. I know its a big work load but weve got Hall and Tino back soonish and defenders can genuinely play more games. If we were playing a poorer side, then yes but if we get knocked out the carabao cup because we went to weak, we would be annoyed with ourselves.
-
Id be going: Ramsdale Thiaw Schar Botman Burn Bruno Tonali Ramsey Elanga Osula Barnes
-
NDiaye would be a dream signing but hes the same as Mbeumo and Cunha etc. He'll already be being piped off by "legacy clubs".
-
I dont think we will sign anyone in January. Not unless we get a big injury or a player like Willock leaves.
-
Anyway what Spurs side should we expect on Wednesday?
-
I only wear glasses when im reading the latest reform manifesto, like a real man. Mine are proper hard man glasses, not like them piddly things you were for your soft cunt magazines about "double pivots" and the likes.
-
Used to love the days when I could slap my missus around and not see a single stat besides possession. The good old days, when men could be men and people with glasses would get punched.

If we dont play like league winners, we wont win the league. Come on Dr V, keep up. Until Eddie Howe wins the league, he deserves criticism, even then he hasnt won the CL.
-
Its almost as if we dont have a team capable of winning the league.
-
We are also navigating a CL campaign and if we get through against Spurs, it wont look shabby.

Im sorry like but that is just utter rubbish. Liverpool are in crisis Chelsea got beat off sunderland at home Man Utd have been in crisis for 10 years Everyone was questioning Arteta until two weeks ago Spurs havent had the start everyone thought in Franks first season and got beat at home last week. We arent immune from having to fight to win games. What has changed is the expectation of fans to not only win but perform to a certain level. Id argue our summer window didnt raise the ceiling but actually raised the floor. So whilst we havent been at our free flowing best, there are signs that we are more solid and robust and have options to win games from the bench. We are in a really good place IMO. We havent played consistently well in attack yet, but i also think weve seen as bad as we are going to get, which hasnt been terrible. Theres a long way to go this season and i think we will steadily go up through the gears and whilst we are, other sides will start dropping away because its tough and they dont have the squads or experiance. Also, this is super important, weve got two outstanding fullbacks and probably our most likely goal contributor out. Yes we will pick up more injuries, but i doubt they will hurt as much as what the current bunch are because we are strong in most other areas. We close a 3 point gap and we are back within touching distance of CL places again. We will get there.

So the Pardew stuff is very simple, it doesnt really matter how shit of a manager you were, if when you leave you are prepared to talk positive about the club and the area. The reason why Bruce and Souness are so despised is because they managed to gaslight the nation into thinking that we were the problem. One thing Pardew was good at, its playing the media and fans in a much more savvy way than bacon chops.

Take a bow son. One of the best CB performances ive seen. Our player of the season so far.
-
I went 4-0. Give me a strong start.

Joelinton was rightly taken out of the team on form, but hes also a player capable of completely dominating the midfield. Its only a few months since he was our best player in a cup final.
