1.73 PPG gives you the 65 points which is the average for a 5th place finish. We are currently on 1.78 PPG. We have some tricky fixtures but never before has it been so unpredictable from about 3rd to 10th in terms of results. I see no reason why we can't go to City, Arsenal and Liverpool and get points. For me, it's crucial we beat Chelsea and Forest. If we do that, we are in the driving seat IMO.

I really like Norgaard at Brentford. He's 30 but he's out of contract. He gets about the pitch, he plays DM so would be a viable understudy to Sandro for when we have Europe. He's their captain, so his attitude is solid. We should learn from Liverpool with players like Milner and Thiago etc.He's a cost effective way of navigating the next window. Just a suggestion.

He's outperformed Gordon this season IMO. Murphys defensive output has been better and he's been a key reason why Isak is scoring. Gordon will always be the better player because when a game is tight Murphy struggles with close control and quick passing, he's also got softer mentality. That's not to shit on Murphy though, he's absolutely key to us right now.

I tend to agree with him, however I think perhaps Schar has always had moments. I think what bothers me more about Schar right now is that his mint passing hasn't been seen in a while. He'd start every week for me because of the balance he brings but at some point we need to find a right footed CB who can at least compete with him.

I always hope for injuries and cards. Maybe even an outbreak of some serious disease that clears up in may.
