  1. It's entirely possible. Should have just let big Dunc have it.
  2. Spurs playing some lush stuff too. Obviously they have been given all the space in the world but... Everton getting relegated would be sooo nice.
  3. Who's that question aimed at? He's been sitting in front of our back four in an 8 game unbeaten run, so clearly Eddie Howe sees him as a defensive midfielder of sorts. More of a ball re cycling, quarter back but a defensive midfielder all the same.
  4. Since October, we have only be beaten once (Leicester) by a side outside the "big six" (City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Man Utd, Arsenal and Spurs) and you could argue that Leicester are a side that were expected to be competing in that area. Wolves was the previous game we lost to, who ironically have been talked about as an outside bet for the top 4 (highly unlikely now). In truth, Southampton will be tough. Unlike West Ham and Brighton who's form has slipped and have struggled for goals, Southampton create chances and like to attack teams.
  5. I'm fairly sure that Weghorst will have a relegation release clause with Burnley. They can buy Wood back for 10m if they want.
  6. In his last two cameos against Brentford and Brighton we have changed formation, when he came on, to this: Bruno Shelvey Joelinton Willock Fraser Wood It's an insight into how Eddie Howe sees Bruno.
  7. I've seen a fair bit of analysis that suggests he's equally comfortable as a DM or a CM. My guess is that Howe will sign a player of similar quality and play a double pivot, with Bruno and a new guy.
  8. 2 years ago, at the age of 22 he scored 17 goals in 31 games and got 7 assists. He really should not be judged by what's going on at Man Utd.
  9. I'd like the club to do a few get-to-know-you videos. A little snippet on each member of the coaching staff and their background and role etc. I'd love to know the ins and outs of a data analyst for example.
  10. I know its likely bollocks but please...
  11. Also, I lost all of my respect for Micah Richards when he laughed at Shearers best 11 he had played with, which included Rob Lee. He actually laughed at Rob Lee. Micah Richards has never been in anyone's all time anything.. ever.
  12. Just think, we have had to listen to Paul Merson give his views on Eddie Howe as a manager. Two bigger polar opposites you will never likely see.
  13. Just get rid of ex players all together. I get a much better insight on YouTube from the likes of JLA. Hire some genuinely knowledgeable football fans and you will get a much more insightful show.
  14. He's been terrible this season. He's got all the signs of being "Bruced", albeit without Steve Bruce being his manager. He looks less fit, less motivated, less focused. Howe would sort him out.
  15. Didn't he score more goals as a youngster than Ronaldo?
  16. It's also price dependant. He's stock has dropped massively and we shouldn't be paying the English tax.
  17. I think I gave the transfer window a solid 7. On revision, it's been closer to a 9. Ultimately, as Howe predicted, the players who were already here are as key to us staying up as the new signings.
  18. Yeah I had been banging the Tarkowski drum but I've now seen the light. He's just not good enough as a footballer, he's very much in the Lascelles mould. Both Schar and Burn are much better players and there is an arguement that at least one of them won't be starting for us next season.
  19. Disagree. He's being constantly shifted out wide to accommodate others at Man Utd. Ignoring his recent form, he has everything to be a great striker. His finishing and movement are great, he's good in the air, he's pacey too. If he can score the number of goals he did from wide areas, in his younger days, then he can certainly play through the middle and get well into double figures.
  20. Rashford playing as a proper number 9 with Bruno, Tripper and ASM supplying him would be class. The kid needs a new lease of life. I'm not convinced Man Utd wouldn't sell to us. They are going to have to have a massive clear out and replacements cost money. He's barely getting a game for them. I'd certainly ask the question.

    Kieran Trippier

Best bit was when he said that Howe will keep doing drills until everyone gets it right. From grills to drills.
  22. Again, it comes down to recruitment plans. We can't shift/buy a whole squad and it wouldn't be wise to. I think natural progression would see Shelvey playing second fiddle to Bruno or another new signing, next season.
  23. Arsenal play some pure sexy football.
  24. If I could pick 5 players in the league Newcastle definitely won't sign, Saka would be one of them. He's untouchable.
