That Spurs game needs to have full stadium black and white, like Arsenal last year. Hopefully wor Flags have something really special lined up.
-
Besides which, if we are raiding Brighton... it needs to be Mitoma, Ferguson, Caicedo or MacAllister.
-
Yeah fair point guys. Just a different angle of attack I thought I'd put forward. I'd like to think the club are exploring various options and ideas.
-
Was thinking he would cost less than 20m. A young CB of Botmans ilk is going to cost 30+ IMO.
-
He's 31, we are going to have to rotate our squad massively next year with European football. He'd get loads of games.
-
Not a rumour but a suggestion of sorts: Lewis Dunk. Hear me out... If we can't get a "top target" for the RCB role. I.e a young player to come in and compete with Schar and eventually take his place, we could do the opposite and sign an experienced player who's been outstanding this season. Dunk is a better CB than Dan Burn, he's experienced, excellent on the ball, another absolute unit, plays in a very similar system and wouldn't cost alot of money. It would be effectively kicking the CB can down the road for a season but it would allow us to keep our powder dry if there are financial constraints. Before anyone goes wild, it's just a different suggestion/strategy to explore.

Just to be clear, we've signed a genuine elite striker in the Kane, Aguero, Haaland (well, ok this guys a freak) mould. This guy is going to do big numbers if we can keep him fit for a full season. He'd be on for 30 goals at current ratio and that's only part of his game, he runs channels, holds up the ball. He's nowhere near the finished article either. I suspect he will still improve 10%, which is frightning. If I was Wilson, I'd be tempted to give him the number 9. Wilson will still get plenty of games and goals, as a back up.

In all honesty this is on par our toughest game left. This and Arsenal. I'd snap your hand off for a draw and an advantage over Spurs going into the Spurs game. We need to be better than we have been to get a result against Villa.
-
On the other hand if our fans want to do their own bed sheet with "Our next messiah..." and a massive picture of Eddie, I think that would be class.
-
I'd genuinely like a truce with Villa fans. Always seen them as a big/historic club. Give me a Villa over a Chelsea or Spurs every day of the week. If they want to help us topple the cartel, fantastic. Obviously we want to smash them next week though.

If this cunt wasn't around Isak would be the best in the league.
-
Just needed a rest. Nothing else to it.
-
As soon as he had given away the pen, I'd already forgiven him. That's how much I love him.
-
Yeah me too. Just before he was subbed off, he burned their defence and Anderson missed a sitter.
-
He will learn. He's basically just started a new football education under us. We might not see the best of him for another 2 year.
-
Personally think there's alot to like but then I'm not one of those fans who likes to have at least one player I can slag off each week.
-
Isak playing dumb.
-
We have two central players pressing. No need to, he needs to cover his wide man.
-
Isak rinsed there. No defender.
-
They haven't showed that though. Completely different starting a game like this.
-
Feel like we have no valuable subs left. Even Anderson isn't the right sub in this game.
-
Reet lads. Break out all the shithousing tactics.
-
VAR has killed our momentum. That's the worst part.
