I agree with your last point but he's making some terrible decisions. I'd like to hear his thought processes. We simply don't need two like for like centre midfielders. I've got less issue with his selections in attacking areas because you could play any 3 of six players. Playing Trippier at left back would be bizarre though.

Say what you want about calmingthechaos views on race relations but what's frightening that he possibly correct about being in the majority. I've had countless close arguments with friends and family about brexit/BLM/the Royal family recently, all stemming from this empowerment of bigotry that has been passed down from the government over the last 10 years. They have normalised having a "debate" on race matters and as a results the rats have come out of the woodwork. Sadly a lot of people are racist, they just hide it extremely well until they are around like minded people and feel comfortable expressing their views.

Pickford, Maguire, Stones, Rice, Mount, Kane, Sterling and Rashford are certainties to start for Southgate. The other 3 are debatable. Chilwell/Shaw for Left back. Reckon it will be Phillips from Leeds in the middle. Then someone in right back. Southgate is stupid enough not to start Foden.

Really hard to judge the merits of a coach but it would seem Jones has made a huge impact with us and has, at the very least, a good reputation amongst other managers and coaches. This makes him so much more palatable as a potential manager than Bruce. I obviously wish we had more ambition but...

If Willock wants to come here, that's pretty much the end of the conversation. Ultimately Willock will never be a first team player for Arsenal next season under Arteta. Doesn't mean to say I think we will get him, just that what Arteta says will have very little baring.

His footballing IQ is very high, but he still needs to learn to impose himself onto a game. Can he put his foot on the ball and dictate the tempo, can he snap into tackles in the centre of the pitch? He's 21 and already has the knack of arriving into the box at the right time. He needs cotton wool wrapped around him and someone intelligent to give him the right advice. Coming to us would be great for game time but if he can find a better coach he would be daft coming to us. It goes without saying that we want him to stay, it's going to cost us at least 20m to make it happen though.

The only thing keeping us from getting relegated and giving Bruce any credibility is some half decent recruitment. Wilson, ASM, Almiron and Willocks loan have kept Bruce in a job, nowt else.
