He was part of a team that beat one of the best sides in the world and has more potential than anyone coming through our system in donkeys years. Why wouldn't you want to continue his development? He's been the highlight of the season for me, so far.

Thing is, Rafa has worked hard on this squad and although it lacks star dust, it has an excellent nucleus of players. Players like Lejeune, Dubravka, Schar, Almiron and Rondon (if we can get another 12 months), are the starting point of something good. If they can just put the effort into getting Rafa 3 more quality players in the summer I.e more Almiron's less Muto's, he might decided to preserve with his project. FWIW, I don't think Rafa wants to leave, he just wants Charnley and Ashley yo show him that he's not wasting his time.
