Bruce and McLaren are the total opposites. McClaren was well known for being decent with the cones and had a decent knowledge of the game. He was just a complete wet paper bag with no man management or motivation skills. Bruce, on the other hand, is a "mans man" like Souness, all motivation and "in the trenches" craic, with no real skill or knowledge of the modern game. I noticed against Leicester on new years day, Bruce was straight over to Rodgers, "all the best", he said referring to the new year, shaking his hand like a long lost brother. I think it's tosspot behaviour wishing it on anyone tbh, but I can objectively understand why people might take that view with MA. Bruce? Nah. I'm shocked at the amount of people defending/supporting Bruce. I've learned my lesson on this one I'm afraid. I thought Pardew could develop into a good manager, I was wrong. I thought McClaren might be the right fit for the club, despite his record, I was wrong. It turns out leopards dont change their spots. Once a shite manager, always a shite manager. Those supporting Bruce are just delaying the inevitable, the slow destruction of the side Rafa built. It doesn't matter how much money we spend, or how many free tickets we give away, Steve Bruce as an appointment was a death by 1000 cuts and proof that this owner has no clue about football and no ambition to learn. I mean what are those sympathetic to Bruce hoping will happen? That he's turned into a good manager over night? It doesn't happen, it wont happen, it has never happened.

First 25 was terrible and then the last 20 has been excellent. Where the fuck has that football been all season. Shame we are still behind. Two things; Joelinton was much better, showed much more aggression and Lejuene is nowhere near up to speed.

It's the correct decision to bring Yedlin in. I like Manquillo but Yedlins pace works well for Almiron.

We could finish in the champions league and I'd still think Rafa was a better manager, provided we keep playing the way we are. Its built on sand and a very good defence, which ironically, Rafa built.
