Under 20m is nowt for a striker these days. Rafa would improve Rondon by 10%, who would in turn improve an already functioning Rafa side. By the way, I think Rafa has made it clear he wants two forwards.

Presuming we don't sell Lascelles and/or Shelvey, we have 3 and a bit weeks to sell a few squad players and sign a few of Rafa's targets. We are in a neutral position right now in terms of improvement, we haven't gone fowards but we also haven't gone backwards. It shouldn't have to be like this, of course, but I'm not going to bang the same drum about the ownership. Let's just hope Rafa gets the 3/4 through the door that he wants and we can aim for top 10 again.

In an ordinary world, getting Hayden moved on would be good but I've no hope in the club's ability to replace him. The book is literally thrown out the window with our lot. Let's hope we have our fingers in a lot of pies.

I like Shelvey but this post is atrocious. Henderson is a fantastic player.

He needs a plan B, basically. If ever there was a time to shore up the defence and bring on Shelvey and Vardy (as people had said before the tournament), yesterday was it. Looking forward to seeing some youngsters emerge into this side.
