Snodgrass would be decent for a couple of years. He's a very good player at this level and a decent one in the premiership. Loftus-Cheek would be another show of intention from Rafa to buy young talent for these shores, especially English talent. He has a lot of promise and certainly looks the part.

No need to sell him in Jan, unless he wants to go. As much as I really want to rate him, I just don't. I think his lack of pace and quick feet, ultimately, let's him down. Gayle is much better than him IMO and I'm not sure Gayle will be prolific in the premiership.

The question is, would Atsu, over the course of a season, make more errors than Gouffran/Richie? He certainly did against Cardiff, where he gave the ball away about six times and put the team under the cosh. I reckon Atsu is a more threatening player to the opposition but would it be detriment to our game by playing him regularly? Rafa won't take risks.

Hate to say it but I can't help but thinking his career here is dead in the water. He will probably see out the season but not the summer. It will be off to Italy or somewhere I reckon. Ultimately, I don't think he has the engine or the skill for the premiership and "age" just won't cut it for me. Shame because he is a great character.

He is a good player, but he needs a good manager. Benitez got him playing well, after McClaren struggled. Now Pardew is struggling to get the best out of him. It's no shock. Shite manager, Shite results. I don't think he's great by any stretch but he has decent end product and pace to burn.
