Fair fucks to them. Pointless down playing what has been a good start. Looks like even in chernobyl, a decent coach can string a decent side together. Long season though, and if they slip up, I will laugh my tits off.

Look at it this way. Whatever he is now, he will be at least 20% better 6 months after he signs.
-
He's also 24 lads. Just a pup in CB terms.
-
Ten Fraud got a nice new contract too.

Even though Lloyd Kelly was a free transfer, I do feel like he is being treated like a poor/second choice signing when evaluating the window so far. Let's not forget he'd have cost us 20m+ a year prior and everything we have seen suggests we've got something fairly special in him.

Aye sorry, wasn't implying you had.

If it's unwanted, yes. The problem is that alot of people actually meet their partners at work. Single folk that is. So this idea that work is an environment where men and women can't be attracted to each other and can't enter a consenting relationship is a tricky one. Most normal adults understand the boundaries and know when and where their advances aren't warranted. Woman should feel safe in their workplace (and men, and believe me it works the other way), but at the same time someone shouldn't just be sacked for making an advance that was misjudged. I'm not saying this is what happened here BTW. Jenas can get to fuck. I'm just highlighting that it's not as simple as work being a no-go area for relationships. It's not even remotely realistic if we are honest.

He's not a poor signing FFS, because he's not a poor player. Its not Barnes fault we haven't signed a right winger yet. Why do I get the feeling Barnes is being frog-marched into a N-O firing squad.

I'll be honest. I'm an impatient cunt and this is doing my head in. Please, man. Just one hit of the transfer drug. Just one.
-
The good news is that if he somehow goes on to win a league cup with Ipswich they can claim it as there own. Proper small time cunts.

These journalists don't understand that the club is saying it wants to keep every player precisely not to undermine themselves with regards to price. Of course we will sell Trippier if the correct price comes in and this might be one of those where Howe has to accept selling an ageing player is the best solution long term.

Funny because I've seen tits in Rosies too.

Nope. You can unbox them, ready for the fridge.

Worth remembering that is legacy will only get more soured if he stays. I can absolutely see him at Everton. He will get protection from Dyche (he knows Dyche well) and they absolutely love a set piece. He's also, presumably, closer to "home".
-
He's got 12 months left. If he's going, it's a permanent. Give us 8m and we can move on.
-
For whatever reason, I don't feel the attachment that other fans do. I understand his significance in our recent history but for me it all turned a bit sour somewhere along the line. I've got massive respect for him as a player but I dunno, something ain't right.

Doesn't matter. The fee, regardless of what it is, is amortised across the length of his contract (probably 5 years). So 70m (if that's the fee) is going to cost us 14m per year for the next 5 years from a PSR perspective.

Spot on. No issues with a club demanding top wedge, in fact I'd encourage it because it causes the Cartel to think twice. It's just that Parish is an absolute weapon.

I was there in June, so I will let you know what the weather is like.
-
Was only a couple of seasons ago everyone was talking about him and Mitchell for the England side.

You may put cans by the fridge but not yet in it.
