Even though i have my doubts over whether i think this will go through, i must say the Hughton interview did look encouraging. He's kept fairly low key so far but seemed fairly confident in his interview, it might have been because he knew about the other two coming in today though.

Does insolvency mean they will go out of business? i.e go into Liquidation? Never did do business or financial management.

How come they have not gone into administration like everyone else? Have i missed something, they should have gone in a long time ago? If they can't pay for the website, they have no chance of paying the players wages. It would make more sense for them to sacrifice their place in the premiership for the sake of the future of the club.

It's called being raw, alot of you players are like this. Lots of energy but no real direction to his game yet. It's at this point in his career where he needs a good manager to settle him down and focus on the best parts of his game. However, unless he gets games, that won't happen.

Keane will be a good player for most clubs and i suspect that if he did join Villa he would fit in perfectly.

Out of interest, if you sign Kaboul you will have; King, Dawson, Woodgate, Bassong and Kaboul. In the summer there is no way you will keep all of them happy, so who do you think will leave? Woodgate will probably retire and King may not be offered a new contract. Kaboul has been a straight beast whenever i've seen Pompey play (especially when he played rb). I liked him when he was here but his concentration levels were poor to say the least. Any sensible manager should be looking to pick up one of those lot, depending on who Harry prefers. Dawson seems to have improved recently too.
