Young's being doing those sorts of performances for a year now, however he never gets the praise that Walcott is getting. Thos two on the flanks for England would be devestating. I agree. I rate J Cole very highly, but how Downing makes the England squad ahead of Young is miles beyond me. Exactly. I don't think Downing is a poor player but i believe Young to have as much promise as any of our young talent in this country.

Looked bright and lively. The sign of a good striker was that he was patient in waiting for his goal.

Personally, i thought he showed all the typical attributes of a south american. Good short range passing, steady feet, good ball control, always trying the move the ball on quickly but what i was mainly suprised about was his pace. He seemed alot quicker than i expected him to be. Still early days but i'm looking forward to seeing if the lad can add something special to our midfield.

I hope that Xisco starts like, don't think i could handle Ameobi playing. Fingers crossed. Looks a bit of a brute this lad, hopefully he plays like that.

I'm still going at the weekend, not because i have any love towards Ashley but because i love my club and always enjoy the football. I will add my voice to the protest when i can but just as important i will support the lads for the 90 minutes. If there is anything worse than the shit that is going on at the minute, it's if we start dropping points against teams like Hull at home.

I'm not going to post regarding the manager i want because i don't think it makes a difference. I shall just sit back and watch what the club does. One thing is for sure, in order to "appease" me, they will have to pull a fucking giant rabbit out of the biggest hat.

This week has been a farce, there's no two ways about it. I have been a massive defender of the Ashley regime but even i can't defend this one. This kind of thing should not happen at football clubs but when it does happen then someone has to take the blame and that for me is the man at the top of the hierarchy. Ashley should have his house in order. However, there were alot of "farces" (as well as success) under the last regime, lets not forget that.
