Yes but do you expect Jimenez to deliver? NO! why? because no-one knows anything about him other than the Juan de Ramos deal. I think what worries me about Jimenez is he is too good a negotiator if that makes sense. He'll hold out for the deal he wants even if it means the deal won't happen. Look at the Colo deal and how long that went on for. Yes but we signed a world class defender for an excellent fee.

He's neither a first team regular (shouldn't be) or a consistent performer. Last night, for example, was the first time in months that he has put in, what i would call, an acceptable performance and we were playing Coventry. He lacks pace and end product, i won't buy that because he is young we need to keep him. Are you telling me if Villa put an 8m+ bid in for him we shouldn't take it? The key in the whole thing is if we can find a replacement because as you say, our squad is thin.

If anything this could be a blessing in disguise. It may well push through a couple of transfers for us, as well as lining our pockets for a second rate player.

Sadly i agree. I think he's being slightly over hyped by a few. When he gets the opportunity to cross he is very good but i think i remember him crossing the ball once last night. He wasn't playing out wide though last night. Good point but i don't think i saw one cross againt Bolton either. I like the guy, don't get me wrong but for someone with such a good cross he doesn't do it often enough. Still plenty of time for that to change.

I agree. I've been sticking up for Taylor but i thought Bassong looked bloody composed today compared to him. I would like to see him against prem opposition though. Be interesting to see who starts Arsenal in terms of how highly Keegan rates Taylor, as Bassong did not much wrong at all tonight. Na, Keegan will stick with Taylor, which i don't really mind because Bassong still needs to be eased into our league. However, he's promising all the same.

Sub Owen-8 Scored a good goal once again to win it for us

Said the same thing when watching it. He is playing exactly how he plays for the U21's, if he did this for us every week he would be class.

Our best players were Milner, Zoggy and Enrique.

We've been superb but Coventry are piss poor TBH. We should be about 5-0 up, i had a feeling they would score whilst we were being a bit cocky. Never mind, have full confidence we will win this game. If Owen comes on in the second half they will have no chance. Good goal by Morrison, totally against the run of play, never mind role on second half.
