  1. You talking to me. As far as i'm aware i've made about three posts in this thread, hardly enough to warrant a stance? So what shall we talk about, Bellamy or Freddy?
  2. I've never heard so much shite in one paragraph. 1) "Can't get in the Bolton team" followed by..... "played for them 30 time last season" the contradiction speaks for it's self. 2) "Bolton fans are glad they are not buying him"..... evidence please? Funny enough the Bolton board clearly were impressed enough to try and sign him permenantly. 3) "The Liverpool fans think he will never start for them" Very true but half the players in the league couldn't get a game for them with Gerrard, Alonso and Mascherano in their midfield, therefore a rather irrelevant comment. 4) "We have enough squaddies" What the fuck is a squaddie? If your reffering to the size of our squad then it is nowhere near big enough. Personally i'd rather have good young players who still have hunger on the bench than players who's best days are behind them. 5) Excitement is irrelevent. I'm saying nothing. Apisith is one of the people who take sense sometimes on here. Quite amazing people are defending the record in the transfer market of this club in the last year. Astonishing. Thought you were saying nothing? I wish you wouldn't.
  3. Depends what area you are talking about. In the final third of the pitch, i'm happy with Owen, Viduka and Martins for starters. In defence, i'm content with Beye, Faye and Enrique. The midfield is the real area of concern, which i'm positive we will be addressing.

  5. Not exactly the type of signings that are going to cause mass media intrusion are they? Irrelevant, i've seen us linked with some shite so far this summer. I've only seen Guthrie mentioned twice, once by Bolton and once by Liverpool about an hour ago.
  6. I can't wait until you shut the hell up.
  7. Great to see us finally get the ball rolling, so to speak. Thats two in two weeks aint it? I can only see him adding to the depth of our squad and holding promise for the future. However, we are in need of bodies with premiership experiance and young english talent is very welcome, especially at a low cost. Obviously i'd like to see us going for a few players of bigger calibre but i don't mind seeing a couple of youngsters coming in, Barnes and Evans next please. Oh and bravo to the confidentiality, very little press again.
  8. Doubt Milner has anything to do with it TBH. Won't be too gutted if he does mind.
  9. Sounds like this one may be happening then. Was it in their paper or have they just updated the website?
  10. To be fair mate, apparently he was major factor in their survival last season and the Liverpool fans sound like they rate him quite highley. There are always those who will put a downer on things. Dread to think what DvD matheiS will have watched.
  11. For me this is a positive move. I personally believe we have got a talented core of players in the squad, it needs a few more but it also needs some promising youngsters to bring some bite and drive back into the squad.
  12. It looks to me like the Liverpool fans believe him to be a good back up to their first team. Which is decent considering they have Gerrard, Alonso, Mascherano. They are even debating whether he's better than Lucas. If we were to sign him around the 2m mark it would be brilliant buisness in my eyes. Seems to me like the club is going out of the way to boost the squad before splashing the cash on the stars, which for one reason or another don't seem to be available at this stage of the window. I imagine later on in this window, you will see bigger figures moving for players all around the country.
  13. Hear hear, mind you it will fall on deaf ears because manor park is lacking a brain.
  14. Absolutely, i mean they would improve any squad but it's still lightyears from a serious title challenge. They 2/3 more Torres calibre players if they have any hope and lets be hojnest liverpool don't have the money to do that. Although, odly it's going to take similar money to get Barry and Keane.... baffling TBH.
  15. Good. Bad. It's bad regardless of whether we want to keep him. Having him out is far better for selling him and obviously we need him back in training if we want to keep him. I just hope Keegan and co are prepared for the new season, whatever they decide.
  16. I'm envious of you. If i were you i would have complete trust in Arsenes transfer plans. If he sells Adebayor for 30m, you will be laughing all the way to the bank.
  17. He seriously believes with Keane in his side he can mount a title challenge? Keanes a bloody good player but Benitez is mad if he thinks he will transform their fortunes. Surely Berbatov is more "do-able" than Keane? Oh and yes Benitez is being a wanker with the way he's going about his transfers.
  18. Couldn't agree more but i just feel KK will go back, mainly because of the argys arrival. Suggests the use of wingers sadly.
  19. Denied early release, has to stay in for another month. Which means he will miss the start of the season.
  20. Well done mate, just ruined your career by joining a nothing league, all because fener are in europe. At least he didn't join the mackems.
  21. That sounds pretty good like. Sounds pretty good but i think the formation was dependant of Viduka holding up the ball. TBH, i don't believe for a second we will be playing that formation next season. I think we will revert back to 442.
  22. Would take him anyday. I know he failed somehow at Arsenal, but I still think he's made for EPL... He's got most of the core attributes, Stength, Pace as well as a good ability on the ball and for at least a season a good eye for goal. However, i would never play him as a striker, he simply is never going to be prolific enough. I think he would make a craking attacking midfielder though, chipping in with enough goals to satisfy the position.
