  1. People using the term "Invest in the club" when they really mean "spend money on the club without getting a return". I don't think people really understand what "Investing" means, compared to Spending. RTG is a prime example of wanting to "Invest" £50M to produce a more entertaining team but it would only raise the value of the club by £20M
  2. More delicious clutching at straws... this one from our Favourite Janey
  3. Playoff tickets should be free (it’s almost like a cup game anyway). Unfair to expect fans to have to buy more tickets after just finishing paying off their season card over the installment plan. Where are they going to find another $20 for a ticket with Wembo train and hotel tickets to pay for
  4. Durham Cathedral has exploded RTG https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/what-the-hell-is-durham-cathedral-doing-on-mag-flag.1472185/ Wor Flags better watch their Letterbox
  5. Amazing how the RTG witch "Mag" hunters can sense a whiff of gravy in a post from 1000 yards, and ridicule all the posts they dislike as a Sad-Mag pretending to be a Mackem. But they cannot figure out that the Fan in Peace is really just Paul from Pennywell or Gary from Grindon trying to kiss up the rest of the board by pretending that other teams fans care about them. Even Grumpy Old Man (who I like as an RTG poster) is starting to get suspicious but still hasn't figured it out.
  6. Fewwmin as Barton said he wanted to send them home “with tears in their eyes” And he did ..... bwaaahahaha ?
  7. Posh-Fan-In-Peyce says that's not true. Sunderland are their third favorite team after Peterborough and Feyenord.
  8. The flag provides a definitive separation of the goal line and the touchline (as least, it does for the height of the corner flag pole)
  9. Not sure... I thought it was just that the staged purchase payments from The Don were secured against the Marrachute payments.
  10. Next season is the last Marrachute payment from the Prem (about £16M I think), and that was supposed to be spent on solidifying their Champo squad for the Promotion push. Well, the last part is true .... they will be spending it on promotion push
  11. And after predicting that the stadium would be 60-40 Sunderland (not mentioning Reivers 80-20 prediction) with large Sunderland presence in the Pompey end.... RTG - checkatrade cup final winners, shite club, shite fans. RTG - And I thought their fans were better and louder than ours. RTG - They weren't, like. Pretty even. So after their takeover of CG and TS, ruling Wembo, Greatest fans etc...... they were evenly matched with by a Shite club with Shite fans. Hahahahahahah Fooking glorious
  12. Pretty good that - Impressed. We'll never hear the end of how they "Took over TS" now
  13. Just looked at their remaining fixtures 9 games to play, and 6 are against teams in top half of division (only three against bottom half teams). And 4th place Sunderland till have to play games against 3rd, 6th and 7th place teams (where they respectively Lost, Won and Tied in the opposite fixture). This is not the "Gimme" run in that the RTG crew make it out to be. Will be interesting to see if they have a Wembo hangover for the Wednesday trek down to Accrington for one of their easiest "on paper" games
  14. Yes. But surely they were only a medium using the Texas metric Hehe not sure if that’s the “bigger in Texas” thing or fat Americans but probably true either way ?
  15. Wasn’t the Gravy Stained notion from a picture of two large Newcastle fans in their replic shirts where one had a large gravy stain down the front of his shirt?
  16. The Sunderland post was actually quite good. Honest assessment of the situation, for Sunderland and NE Football in general, without any RTG afflictions.
  17. Rafa would have to buy Abraham - we already have Kenedy loaned from Chelsea
  18. She's anyone's the neet She's a hugger.... I want a hug from her
  19. Hehehe Lost to Darlington, last minute equaliser to tie Hartlepool. But they are going to piss the league. They better hope that they don't lose to Boro or RTG will melt down. Now has anyone got the number of the team that just played Everton? The Don would like to arrange a quick scrimmage
  20. I love how the RTG witch trials immediately tar and feather anyone who is slightly suspicious of The Don and isn't quaffing the Methven CoolAid.
  21. Do you have a link for that marra? Nah sorry, nothing I could find but it is in their issue 1471 from about a month ago, page 15 under the heading "World of Sport". Fucking Mag cunt! I smell Bisto!! IGNORE!!
  22. Perfect result. Don't get beaten, but still get the easier side of the draw.
  23. Some seriously illiterate people there. I understand typos in messages but some of those requests lack even basic sentence composition.
  24. If it was really as easy to get rid of the old contracts and bring in new players before shooting back up the leagues, Short would have done that. As it was, Short determined that it was better to pay $20-$20M to get The Don to take it off his hands, than to stick around and keep subsidizing things. The fact that RTG thinks he paid off the debts out of honor or moral obligation (and not desperation) is the funniest thing about this.
