Why dont Lennon just cross the ball instead of going the by line and trying to skip past a defender. Fair play Ramos has done well in his changes, Im not a big fan of huddlestone but so far under Ramos he has been excellent

If the last chairman had of adopted the Chris Mort/Mike Ashley way as you put it, we wouldn't have had Souness or Roeder and in all probability wouldn't be posting in this thread now. Tbh would the majority of season ticket holders actually say they want Shearer as manager? Surely most wouldnt want us to take such a big gamble even if it was for Shearer.

There are a few top managers around who are available, The likes of Lippi or Capello are probably out of reach but if SA does get the sack then those managers should be offered the job even if they turn us down.

If SA sends the players out to win and is positive he wont get as much grief than if he sets us out for a 0-0 draw. If we lose tomorrow and then against Arsenal i wouldnt be suprised to see SA given his P45.

Is it just me or is Spurs playing with Chimbonda as LB and Lee as RB?

Although, all of his assists and goals this season have come from the Left Back position (barring his goal against west ham in which he had just moved to LM seconds earlier). That means fuck all really, He is pretty poor as a defender and is missed when he aint on the wing. The only other LW we have is Duff and he is injured, Milner aint a LW and why SA plays him there is annoying. We only have 1 RW in Milner and for some strange reason SA plays him on the left.

Tbh i would of been happy so see a bit of progress but so far nothing has changed, Under SA i was expecting to see us harder to beat, more organised, better at dead ball situations and an all round fitness improvement. When we were after SA i was happy because i thought he was the 1 realistic manager who we could get who would sort out most of our major problems but so far he has looked out of his depth. His team selections, tactics and subs have so far been baffling. I dont think he should be sacked after 13 games but if things dont improve by xmas then perhaps we should start to look for a new manager, Just because we have a reputation of hiring and firing managers it doesnt mean we should stick with SA no matter what, if SA doesnt show some sort of improvement then he should rightly so been under huge pressure. The poor football i can tolerate but the negative tactics against teams like Derby, the lack of passion and fight in the team and the piss poor shape to the team, i cant tolerate that. SA has in the past been quick to big himself up so now its time to prove it, he wanted his chance to prove he is a good manager at a big-ish club and he has that chance but tbh he hasnt impressed.

It better be Zoggy on the LW and Milner on the RW. I cant stand it when he plays Zoggy on the right and Milner on the left. Knowing in SA he'll have Smith on the right and probably Emre on the left.

Good post, It is really fucking me off how negative he has been. SA seems to be playing for a 0-0 draw with the hope that we can somehow nick a goal, Against the top 4 i can understand those tactics but he went to Derby for a 0-0 FFS. What makes it more annoying is the fact that Liverpool werent all that good today yet they should of scored atleast 6 or 7, They were there for the taking imo.

Which of course should tell a number of people (not you) that the main problem wasn't the defenders at all, but has been mainly down to the players in front of the defenders and our inability to control football matches. People don't listen though, even though this is really easy stuff. Yea as a team we have been piss poor defensively, The way we conceded possession today was pretty embarrassing. Why SA insists on putting Smith in midfield time after time is mind boggling, Not only is he poor but he is getting into the side before the likes of Milner. SA has bought to many grafters and not enough quality and i think that is starting to show now, You know when things are bad when Butt is shooting from 20 yards out.

IMO it aint the fact that we lost because Liverpool are a top side but its the manner in which we lost, We were clueless all over the park and SA didnt have a clue how to change things, Im still shocked at his subs. tbf i dont think we have improved 1 bit since SA has taken over. I actually think we have looked worse defensively, conceded 7 goals in our last 2 games at SJP that fuckin shocking.

Todays substitutions are possibly the most baffling I've ever seen. We were getting beat and not a single substitution was going to change anything, bringing on Carr is possibly my low point of the season but the others were almost as bad. We were getting totally outplayed and went like for like when our game was crying out for something different, that isn't what I expect to see from somebody who is supposed to be tactically aware.. I agree, Carr is a fuckin shite RB so SA bring him on as a LB. I just cant understand his thinking behind the subs.

Why the fuck did sam take off Emre for Barton when we were 2-0 down? And then take off Zoggy a LW for Milner a RW? And to top it off Enrique a LB for Carr a fucking RB. It just doesnt make sense

Wenger said that Eduardo won't be a regular for at least 6 months as it'll take him that long to adapt to the Premiership. People expect too much too quickly from foreign players. They play FM and expect it to be the same. You do get the rare exception like Elano but most foreign players do take time to adapt on and off the pitch.

What if he's ill? Then is it stupid?
