Ramos is to take over as soon as possible is what everywhere's saying, Allens just caretaker for the Blackburn game. Why would Ramos want to take over Spurs when his team are in the CHL? Spurs are also taking a big gamble imo. Continental manager dont always do well in the premiership
-
He didnt look like a manager who had just been sacked when Spurs conceded.
-
The commentary are fucking me off, Defoe was clearly offside and active, He may not of touched the ball be he was clearly interfering
-
Spurs were lucky then. Kaboul with another fuck up.

I haven't disagreed that you didn't deserve 5th place, I just think it was down to the work of Jol and the general shitness of the teams about you more than sheer quality of your team. The end of season table will show this. And off the top of my head I'll say Sol Campbell (has been brilliant for Pompey) is better than King tbh. Didn't he use to play for you? Oh, and even if I was to think King was the best defender out the top 4 and agreed with you over it. That still wouldn't mean you have the best team player for player outside the top 4. I'd like to see your opinion on who has the best defender/defence etc outside the top 4 tbh. Sol campbell better then Ledley king?? do me a favour mate. Ask any pompey fan and they will tell yo primus has been far better then campbell both last season and this season. As for Woodgate, he's been shite this season and major chunks of last season too (though he was exceptional against the gooners at emirates) To answer your question: Best goalkeeper : Given or friedel (given just shades it i think) Best defender: King Best midfielder: Arteta Best striker : Berbatov Scy who in your opinion has the best strike partnership again?? If we aint taking injuries into account i'd say Owen is better than Berb because Owen will score a lot more goals.
-
Spurs are gonna be in trouble if they are goin to be relying on King, He'll keep on letting Spurs down because he's always injured. Berb is a good player, He can create things, A player we have been crying out for this season but he aint worth £20m+ which Spurs fans seem to be thinking. TBH i havent been impressed with that Kaboul either, Everytime ive seen him he seems to make a mistake or 2. Spurs have paid over the odds at £8m

No we havent. Jol's definatly improved us but no way were we punching above our weight since he joined. Do you think you're the 5th best team in England? Unbiased? player for player? Your team as a whole, do you think you are the 5th best? And player for player too. I personally find the whole spurs to be some what over rated except for a few players (King and Berbs mostly) and feel Jol has done a f****** good job to get you to finish 5th these past two years. Also think that now other teams around you (and us) have strengthend he is going to have a hell of a job replicating that feat and wouldn't be surprised if you finished outside the EU places. On and I also think one of the reasons you managed to finish 5th was due to most of the teams below you who would push for that spot were either going through a building process, in desperate need of a change/takeover or were in crisis. This bit is bollocks tbh. We finished fifth on the 05/06 season simply because we played well and deserved it. If anything we should have finished fourth. So if for instance Everton finished fifth this season, would you say that they were lucky because we had a poor season? oh and to answer your other question, i think we do have the 5th best squad player for player but probably the 15th best squad in terms of playing as a team which is down to the manager and a handful of players that have desperatly let us down. I think with the improvements we made in the summer that our squad is better now, I don't think we will see the full benefit of it this season though as it'll take time to make them a great team. Yea i agree, I also think teams like Everton, Mancity and Villa have strenghened so its pretty hard to say which team is the 5th strongest in the league. Spurs over the past 2 seasons have been the 5th best team and the league proves that. I dont think Spurs will finish top 7 this season, They wont get relegated. If i was a Spurs fan i would be extremely pissed because end of last season when they finished 5th they had a lot of money for transfers and looked able to push on and to challenge the top 4 but that money was wasted imo, They had enough money to sort out the defence and midfield but wasted it on an average striker.
-
Doesnt make them a good side thou, Overall this season they have been poor.
-
Looked no better than the likes of Bolton and Derby.
-
You seen much of him? I know of him only from his exploits on Youtube, against some pretty hurrendous defences. Only a few matches and plenty of highlights, he looks a class above whenever I've seen him though especially when CSKA won the Uefa cup, he also played well when they played Liverpool. He's been out with a knee injury but he just made his comeback the other day, still a young lad too. He just played against Inter in the Champions league. He is a very gifted player, Would cost a fair bit thou.

Where's Kingdawson these days? I thought he would have to have his said.
-
I agree with all that, When he first came here it took a lot of people by suprise and Ashley's motives we questioned but i think he has made it clear that he didnt buy this club to make a quick buck, Everytime i see him he has a big smile on his face and really looks like he's loving it at the games. Its good to see Ashley, Mort and Sam all sitting and talking together at the games. Hopefully Sam will be teaching them about the game, Have the 2 seats in front of Sam been converted into to tv's?
-
I must say that is a strong team and a very strong bench. We seem to have a good squad building up now
-
said it was tactical on Setanta altho i wouldn't take that as truth as they appear to know f*** all generally I've had Satanta for about a month and I'm already sick of it! They we're amazingly biased in their build up to the game and coverage in general. The match was looked at pretty much entirely from a Spurs perspective. Having said that maybe it's a good thing that these days the focus seems to be off us in these sort of games allwoing us to quietly go about our business I agree, Last night post match took the piss. All they were interested in was Spurs, When Spurs played Villa it was the same.

I think if Viduka is fit he has to play or atleast bring him on for the last 30 mins, Its hard choosing who to partner up front with the Duke, Martins had a good game on Monday and scored but Owen is the better striker. I wouldnt rule out Smith and Owen up front. Defence has to stay the same imo, Unfair on Roz because he hasnt put a foot wrong but Faye and Cacapa have impressed, Full backs basically pick themselves. Midfield is a tough 1 because Butt's away form hasnt been that good and Emre aint the best on the road, The only sure starter would be Zoggy, Milner needs rest and Barton aint fit enough to start a game on all in all i'd go for the same midfield as on monday lol
-
1st half we had plenty of possession Something like 60% - 40%
-
Zoggy had a cold apparently

Don't forget Bramble and Dabizas. You might as well stick Bernard & Caldwell in. That was only 5 years ago, where are they now? Hughes = Couldn't get in the Villa side. Struggling to get in the Fulham side. Griffin = Couldn't get in the Pompey side. Struggling to get in the Derby side. O'Brien = Couldn't get in the Pompey side. Now playing for Bolton who are bottom. Bramble = Playing for Wigan. Dabizas = Winding his career down back home. Bernard = No club. Caldwell = Burnley captain. Scary! Have people forgot about Boumsong? He was fucking terrible

I think Taylor should stay because he can learn alot off Roz, Cacapa and Faye. Its amazing that in 1 transfer window Sam has done so well. Its good to hear Sam still talking about improving the defence despite winning 3-1, Many managers would milk the win.
