  1. I'm not having that like. f****** sublime is the word you were scrambling for. How the f*** that goal never made it on the top 10 goals of September GOTM competition is one of the great disgraces of British Television history. What an atmosphere it was that neet as well, Pav was in goal. Because it was an absolute fluke ffs, backed up by Mathie's utter shitness in general. Shut up you mug. You hadn't even got the metro anywhere other than South Shields from your Jarrow hovel in 1993, let alone remember Mathie's goal, absolutely brilliant goal.
  2. Agree with most of what you said, but the bit in bold is reaching a bit far. A player of his caliber should aspire to be playing regular CL football. He said on SSN one time that it is more important to be happy playing in a competitive league than playing in CL. Not much doubt he wants CL but is prepared to wait a bit to get it. How long is the big question............. I can't understand why any realistic Tottenham fan could ever envisage socmeone like Berbatov using you as anything other than a stepping stone, and how you could ever picture yourself as a Champions League club. Ambition, hopes, dreams. In the pre-Keegan days, could you ever picture Newcastle competing in the Champions League? Can Leeds fans hope that their club return to the heights of just a few years ago? A lot will depend on how Spurs fare the rest of this season, what signings are made and how next season goes. If the names I've heard come to fruition, then maybe we could push for a CL place, maybe not. The good news is that there is a lot of money available in the transfer pot for the right players, Berbatov is very happy with life in London and at Spurs, and maybe surprisingly, Levy is reviewing the salary structure at the end of the season. Add to that the news that Charlie Lewis (Joe's boy) will be taking a more active role at Spurs suggests that there might be more money about without the need for selling to an oligarch. Whether there will be sufficient progress quickly enough to keep Berbatov happy only time will tell. As I've said before, as long as I can see steady progress being made, I can wait for progression to the top table. If Berbatov does go before that happens, Spurs should be receiving a very large fee in return. I'm optimistic though that he will still be around for the next 4 years. Names you've heard . Like who? Let me guess, Messi, Gattuso, Mancini, Gerrard and Sergio Ramos? None of them are good enough for a club of Tottenham's huge unparalelled stature IMO. Thats just as well then because I haven't heard any of those mentioned. :-D Stick to the likes of Kevin Scott and Oyvind Leonhardsen mate.
  3. I'd rather have Roeder tbh. He spent £110m in 3 seasons of his 6 year reign on UTTER dides, like Salif Diao and Titi Camara, and the football the club played was turgid.

    What if we

    Delima you lost? >>> middlesbrough.rivals.net
  7. PMSL you can't keep hold of decent players, Carrick was off at the first opportunity. I'd be amazed if a) Owen isn't here next season and b) Berbatov is still at Spurs and c) not even the great Arthur C Clarke could write such an unbelievable story as Michael Owen leaving Newcastle for a little club like Spurs.

How the f*** that goal never made it on the top 10 goals of September GOTM competition is one of the great disgraces of British Television history. What an atmosphere it was that neet as well, Pav was in goal. Even worse was BBC missing out Venison's goal against Villa from their list, and ITV somehow didn't deem Robert's cracker at Goodison in 2003 a contender. I can understand Venison's, it was a great goal but he was only 22 yards oot or so, good goal, but if any cunt else scored it no one would've said anything. Played well in centre midfield that day Barry. Beardsley's goal doon the Leazes End that game, was absolutely world class, I bet Ehiogu's having nightmares about it now.

  10. One thing Souness, Roeder and even Robson to an extent found it very difficult to do, is giving the side confidence to go to Anfield, OT, Highbury and SB with confidence that we might actually get something. Yes we did get something on the very odd occasion, but the belief Allardyce gave Bolton dictated that they always had a chance at these grounds. Ask yourself how many times you backed against Bolton away at any of these grounds, not many and even that out against the amount of times in the last five years we've been to any of the mentioned grounds and you've genuinely had confidence of getting something.
  11. It's harsh calling Roeder a c***. If you were offered the toon manager;s job would you say no? No. Roeder didn't neither. I'm sure many would be justified in calling you a c***. Why's he a c***? I wouldn't take a job i knew i'd fail at, and if he thought he was good enough, he's stupid as well as a c***. As for him being a c***, well: transfers; formations; tactics; team selections; lies upon lies; blame-shifting. that makes him a poor manager, not a c***. you on the other hand... Agree. I'd take the job. Should be the best job in the world, better than a shitey 15 grand a year anyway. You'd take a job knowing you weren't good enough, and that you'd let your employer, staff, and thousands upon thousands of desperate customers down? I wouldn't. You're demoted, Stevie. Only £14k a year for you now* * Not sure its actually legal to pay someone that little nowadays, but that'll Learn you. I didn't say I earned £15,000 a year, but that won't be far off the minimum wage. I'd take the job because I'd have full confidence in my managerial abilities. Since I started managing my five a side team, that's two promotions we've had now. It's a simple game, and you don't need to be a rocket scientist to be a football manager. I'd have had us at least 5th, and I'd have abused Spurs and their shit fans in the papers. Seriously though, an absolute key requisite to any football team should be movement off the ball. The last 8 games, there was fuckin none. There's enough pace in the team, but that game on Saturday, none of them were moving. Someone would get the baal, and they'd have no options apart from someone running towards them who would then give them the ball back, then over hit passes (Bramble) to the wing and out of play. How hard can it be for anyone to coach movement off the ball? You can have all the vision in the world but what's the point if no cunt is making space for themselves, others, and yourself to play the pass. That's why the toon have been shite. All that pace and no movement at all.

As for him being a c***, well: transfers; formations; tactics; team selections; lies upon lies; blame-shifting. that makes him a poor manager, not a c***. you on the other hand... I what? I can only assume you are admitting that i am not a poor manager, as my record with Championship Manager Italia in the mid 90's proves. As for that cockney w****** being a poor manager, you think that the lies and blame-avoidance is just poor management? I think its the work of a c***. But you're probably in the "he's a nice fella, tried his best" brigade, with absolutely f*** all evidence to back up any of that w***. I won 34 out of 34 with Lazio in CM Italia. His blame avoidance in the main was no where near, NEE WHERE FUCKIN NEAR, Souness levels.
  13. That Harrison bloke will make a few quid from this you watch.

  15. It's harsh calling Roeder a cunt. If you were offered the toon manager;s job would you say no? No. Roeder didn't neither. I'm sure many would be justified in calling you a cunt. Why's he a cunt?
  16. I haven't been stoned for a long, long time. 20 months since I even smoked a cigarette. Just for one moment imagine you're stoned though. You see when you read Howaythelads posts, if Freddie Shepherd has the internet at home, and I've no doubt he's browsed this forum, then HTL's posts are EXACTLY the response I'd expect from FFS. If anyones got some tac, have a few joints and read pages 3, 4 and 5 of this post, and HTL's response. Just a thought for the conspiracy theorists. HTL if you are FFS, much you shedding off the season ticket prices ya fat cunt??!? FWIW. Three years ago I'd have been gutted by the appointment, three weeks ago, I'd have been doing cartwheels at the prospect of someone with a decent track record replacing Roeder. I feel our stock has fallen so far as brilliantly put by Biffa from nufc.com, Sam is the best we can currently get, IN TERMS OF RESULTS, and it's a results game. We need to get the basics right first, and I think he can do it.
  17. Ye fuckin fat cunt. Who's fault is that? He's more or less blaming us the fat bastard. Fuck off! Fuckin nothing but a tramp from fuckin Byker living off daddies money.
  18. Benny Arentoft, Brian Robson, Tony Green? Garrincha
  19. Oh yes it is. I didn't think he was that ugly even though he is Welsh.
  20. It's not Wyn Davies, and it's Fumaca not Goma.
  21. Wayne Fereday, Fumaca, Crossley, Shearer, Southgate. Bobby Moncur on the right. Frank Clark in the middle.
  22. Dean Marney If it's not him clue... is saying david beherall is correct not a big enough clue ? In your heart do you think if I had've seen "David Beharall" "Correct", I would've said Dean Marney?
  23. Dean Marney If it's not him clue...
  24. Paul Dalglish away at Tranmere under Gullit 1-0 win.
  25. See when I see Tottenham fans posting shit on here about their club, I wonder why they don't fuck off to the Arsenal board and tell people that care. In contrast, all through my life Leeds have been a club that have been relevant to us, you look down the years, many, many seasons the biggest gate at Elland Road was against Newcastle, and the biggest gate at SJP was against Leeds. Leeds was always a rivalry for us, even our broad catchment area overlaps, and while I used to hate Leeds, I'd be very, very sad if they can't find the £5m to save themselves by June 27th.
