Maybe Randy Lener has ran out of money and we're in for Agbonlahor
-
Not a striker. Also has no pace, which Pardew has put importance on.

Is Barry Fry the only personality associated with Peterborough?
-
How did this McClean guy not get games under Bruce, when they were really lacking a left sided midfielder?
-
Scholes to come on and kung-fu kick someone in the head, he'll get a yellow card because it's still hilarious he can't tackle after all these years.

Just realised Keith, Ian and Andy have fucked off. Hopefully they drove that fucking Kia off a cliff.

This is going to be 6-1 isn't it?

Are you joking? Everything he did at the math yesterday he did at blistering speed. It was a flipping joy to behold to be honest! Take a deep breath and digest what I said again... There is degrees of pace... And yesterday was not what I would class as blistering... Which I'm trying to highlight he had in his locker over a short/medium distance before his injury... Not saying he's not quick... Not saying he's not skilful... Just saying he's not the player he was... Yet... I didn't see an awful lot of him before he moved to NUFC but if he was quicker than he was yesterday Usain Bolt would be worried. He was absolutely rapid running with the ball, Obertan is meant to be quick but I'd say Ben Arfa was quicker yesterday.

It is the best goal I've ever seen live, it is love.

The match they were in the previous round. For example, Stevenage vs Reading was the last tie to be drawn

The fuck is radio Tyneside? Anyway, just got in. I fucking love the FA cup. Blackburn are shit. Like really, really shit. They went 1-0 up and Kean decided to play a back 10. Ben Arfa was amazing on the wing, probably the best individual goal I've seen at SJP. Obertan was turboshit and if he is still picked over HBA after today there's some big problems. Thing is, Wullie nailed it a few weeks ago when he said nothing other than 4-4-2 has ever worked for Newcastle. It's definitely the case, although I wouldn't rule out HBA off Shola. Best was pretty poor and playing that role today but he did brilliantly for the winning goal so credit where credit is due. Jonas looked back to his old self, him and Santon worked brilliantly together. The composure for his finish is amazing, the deftest of touches to lift it over Bunn (who is an annoying fucker). The back four were relatively untroubled, Coloccini didn't put a foot wrong, Williamson got booked and made a few rash decisions in the first half but was imperious second half, and was unlucky not to score. Ryan Taylor was useful when he came on too, as we all know he offers more going forward than Simpson. To be fair to Simpson, he had to play right back and right wing for much of the first half as Obertan stood infield on halfway doing nothing. Shola gave us a lift when he came on and the ball stuck with him far more than it did with Best, unfortunately Shola's finishing leaves a lot to be desired on his left foot inparticular. Cabaye was excellent, spreading the ball around and really driving the team forward. With Abeid happy to sit and do the simple things it really freed Cabaye up, particularly with Blackburn being camped on their own 18 yard line. Noticeably we played the ball on the deck pretty much the whole time, which benefited Cabaye more than anyone. Gosling came on and gave the ball away, needs a run of games at reserve level to sort himself out. Blackburn made some heroic blocks and were basically all hands to the pump defensively, but they couldn't hold out forever. Ben Arfa must have beaten four maybe five of them for the goal, he's so quick running with the ball it's like he's gliding. Anyway, in the hat for round 4 and hopefully somebody even shitter can make the trip to SJP.

Abeid, Vuckic, Ben Arfa, Best, Ferguson, Krul and 5 others please.

Just seen the goals, my electric returned at 1am this morning. What a freekick from Cabaye, could easily have been Nobby.
-
I hate you northern electric.

So i had a powercut at 7.40 and so im listening to this in a candlelit room. Romantic. Was ba's goal as good as mick lowes made out?
-
Eh? I got it from Twitter, where it was retweeted by a number of journos. Aye I know but I take your word as gospel, you're always right. Granted, this isn't your fault in any way
-
But but but Dave said otherwise!
-
To be fair, I quite fancy Ba and Shola against Carrick & Jones. Especially with someone who can cross on the wing, even if he can't run. It'll be nice to see some early crosses into the box instead of a wander to the byline and then a cut inside
-
Well that's because we're a losing side
-
Fucking hell! Is that Giggs in holding midfield? Welbeck left, Nani right, Rooney in centre midfield, Valencia at right back...and a keeper who's never conceded in the Premiership.
-
Subs: Harper, Perch, Ben Arfa, Vuckic, Obertan, Best & Sammy
-
Could be worse, at least Taylor can cross. But HBA can't get in a midfield containing Ryan Taylor, or in a front line containing Shola. Just not right.

There is man. FA Cup

My main reason for wanting Gerrard in is to have a different player to everyone else. Do you think he will be starting games from now onwards, I dont even know what injury he had so will he be thrown back in or eased in? Berbatov could be a good shout, but chances are he will be an expensive unused sub I think. Edit: guess we'll find out tonight re Gerrard. If he starts im gonna rinse me wildcard. Is Adebayor off to the ACoN? I don't think he'll be starting for a few games, but would assume half hr sub apps. Berba's a risk that I'll probably chicken out of. I don't think Adebayor is off. When you think Gerrard will get half an hour tonight and then they have two cup games to get him up to speed, I think he'll start their next league match.
