Am I right in thinking Bent misses quite a few penalties? Speaking of penalties, keep an eye out for Milners goal.. Bruce said a few weeks ago [on Jones taking the second pen against Wolves instead of Bent again] "I don't think Darren's ever missed a pen in his life" Nothing like jinxing it, eh Steve?

Fucking hell, put Smith and Ranger up front, we'll score 10 at this rate.

Smith or Enrique next then?

Having players that can cross with these 2 up front will probably help us anyway.

This is for your old man, Darren.

Their front 3 are pretty good, at least one of them always seems to score. Boyd in particular has been getting a lot of praise. However a quick check of the league table and they've only scored 5 goals away from home in the league in 7 games, conceding 12. Similar record to Doncaster really, hopefully we won't struggle quite as much here.

He got away with it though Yes that's why I said could've. Oh and

I thought Coloccini was good, don't get me wrong, but he kicked the guy needlessly from a long ball (before the ball got to them). The ref was card happy, surely even you Ronaldo can see why that could've been stupid?

Ryan Taylor won me a free pint, even if it's gone down as an OG I've drank it now Awful game, glad to have won it and well done to Harper for making a few good saves. We were embarassingly deep by the end, but with 3 strikers on Quick ratings because I've had a few: Harper - 8 - Top saves in stoppages, didn't have to do that much until then as Sheff Utd can't finish for shit. Simpson - 6 - played like a man just back from injury, don't think he crossed halfway once Kadar - 7 - Aye, canny. Coloccini - 7 - Did well tonight, shouldn't be getting dragged down into kicking people slyly at this level, could have been silly. Enrique - 8 - Our best player. R Taylor - 6 - Scored, well, sort of. Couple of good crosses but corners were shite and like most of our midfield the game passed him by. Jonas - 5 - Anonymous for large spells. Butt - 6 - Didn't do anything particularly stupid Smith - 6 - Didn't get booked Nolan - 6 - Has the eye for goal that most of our team don't have, forced a good save from Bennett. Crunched their guy on the goal Carroll - 6 - Battled well against a big oaf in Chris Morgan, doesn't look in control of his limbs sometimes. Harewood/Ranger - No time to do anything, difference is Harewood let Henderson get his header in whereas Ranger on the opposite side just did enough to put the Sheff Utd guy off. 4-5-1 (4-4-1-1) is all well and good away from home but having Smith, Butt and Nolan down the middle is just stupid. Carroll seems to give a crap but can't help but feel Ranger would be more of a threat with his pace, Sheff Utd's defence was on half way and left our midfield pretty deep. Jonas didn't look like he could be arsed, fortunately Enrique can do the work of 2 men.

Had a sleep this afternoon and dreamt we lost 2-0. In the dream I fell asleep in the pub and missed the first goal, I must have been really tired.

A lot of chances missed, which could come back to haunt them ala Cardiff last year. think he might have been wondering how they can win games 5-0 then draw/lose at other places So his team talk was no doubt 'Why can;t you play like this every week?!' Well put it this way, if they don't go up I guarantee the following sentence will not be said by anybody at WBA: "We've had a good season but for me only winning 5-0 at home to Watford has cost us big style"

A lot of chances missed, which could come back to haunt them ala Cardiff last year. Yes if they miss out on promotion they'll look back to that game they only won 5-0.

Drogba clearly offside like. He couldn't have been offside, the best striker in the world is never offside. He's that untouchable

We play on Monday...

So you think when a team loses a player to suspension they shouldn't be allowed to get cover? Interesting.

What's the matter with that like?
