Only concern about Sissoko is since his shoulder injury/operation he hasn't been as effective, but it probably doesn't help that he's not played as much with Mascherano arriving. This is true. I wouldn't miss him. Someone imposing in midfield is exactly what we've been missing, as Parky says. Bouba Diop would be my choice realistically, he's probably available, although I worry that he was left out of the Fulham team last season - I presume he fell out with Coleman, everyone else did. Allardyce would get the best out of him (the copyright phrase this summer)

Can't believe I've taken the name of this Irish waster. If Duff leaves this Summer it proves I am a miracle worker, as I'm pretty sure he shouldn't pass a medical in his current state. Amazed we're making a profit on Parker, I fully expect some large European/African to be brought in at some point.
