To say he’s not better than Lascelles or Krafth seems a bit OTT
-
Also if we don’t buy someone who is going to score goals we’ll have no PSR issues as all our good players will want to leave anyway.
-
They’ve got a forward booked in for a medical today…

He would improve the squad and can have a year of bedding in before Schar inevitably starts to wind down. No reason why he can’t improve too. As somebody poster earlier, you just have to trust our scouting department, they have a good hit ratio

Let’s hope Delo Brown from the Slovenian Times or whatever it was called was right and he has chosen us. Somehow I think not though…
-
This is a good point. There were games where we were hanging on for grim death where the ball just wouldn’t stick at the top end. Definitely be nice to be able to relieve the pressure a bit

Downie sounds less confident about it

I get the reservations that he isn’t as good as Isak but people forget Isak barely featured for us in the first 5 months (injury and WC break) and wasn’t a starter until March. He didn’t even start the cup final and it wasn’t that weird. None of that mattered because Wilson was good, we need Wissa to be dependable and bed Sesko in.

Oh don’t worry I didn’t think you were!

Highland Geordie. A twitter “ITK” who is sometimes right about some stuff. Bucket of salt as usual but thought it was interesting that it lined up with Mr Puppets

Yes it’s Hugh Grant well worked out

HG reckons Wissa will join and Isak will stay, similar to what @Shadow Puppetssaid

That’s the problem these days. It being on SSN doesn’t make it any more factual than reading it on Twitter. It’s like when BBC have their gossip column page and people say they read it on the BBC. Not really the same credibility

Ah yes big news like this should be saved for the thriving world of printed media, not published online to drive traffic and ad revenue

He knew straight away like. Fairly innocuous incident but he looked devastated -
Lloyd Kelly was free but earned £900k a week (rounded to the nearest £900k)

Just randomly musing, I do wonder if there’s an intention to try 4231/442 at times this season. Obviously there’s been all the chat of Ekitike/Pedro and others to play with Isak, before he had his bitch fit. Watching Gordon today, it’s a bit of a predicament with Barnes on the left being a reliable source of goals and Elanga signing to play on the right but I could see him being used as a second striker. He did some good work today but then needed a striker to hit in the middle. I know there’ll be a lot of rotation so it might ultimately not matter but I suppose we need to solve the striker part first. -

The Son stuff was nice but bloody hell you can see why he’s leaving. An absolute shadow of what he once was. -

That was very good actually for the most part. Obvious deficiencies on show but controlled most of the half -
Did we ever find out what @Paully was on about with Patterson? Allegedly etc
-
I love everything about it, from Liverpool helping Man Utd to underhand agent payments being kept a secret for about 8 hours. Probably the most legit thing I have ever read.

Which one is that?

Hang on so which Slovenian are we believing, the positive one or the negative one?
