Barnes dragged us through some games when without him we would have lost. Has effectively played the 2022/23 season (moved to us Jan 23), U21 Euros that summer, very small break to come to our US Tour, carried us for parts of 23/24 amidst injury mania, went to the real Euros, played nearly all of 24/25 along with a few injuries he’s probably still fighting back from. Throw in the alleged being offered to your boyhood club, having to sell his best mate to Forest and failing to sign his pal Guehi…time for a beach.
