I'm sorry but after your comments about wanting Jose shipped out, I find it hard to take your opinion seriously. i haven't read the JOse comment but his comment on Jonas t the end is 100% spot on.

my biggest fear for 2moro night is that WBA, who are really good passing footballing team, will come with a 4-5-1 formation and just pass the ball around our not very mobile midfield 2 of Smith and Nolan. Those two are going to have to be on top form tomorrow night if we are too win the game.
-
Inman has impressed me every time i see him, think he should be closer to the first team as well, he's a much better midfielder than Donaldson.
-
West Ham will be a tough game. Hopefully Phil Airey can keep up his good form now he's back from injury, he's probably been this year's Youth Player of the Year so far. Bradden Inman, Stephen Folan and Jeff Henderson should probably get a shout out too. Any idea how long before Vukcic and Sammy Ameobi are back from injury Chris? at the minute we are sweating on the fitness of Inman and Airey, if they get injured we will be screwed. With Vukcic, Ameobi, Inman, Airey, Tavernier, Folan and Henderson we have a good core of a team, oh and young Alnwick in goal as well. In saying that Dummett and Newton are decent as well. I fancy us to get past West Ham orQPR, would've preferred it at SJP tho.

Seen him 3 or 4 times when we've playd Boro's reserves and he's been dreadful in every game and it was hard to see what all the hype and fuss about him was.
-
Apparently so. I've heard someone from Sage is involved but that's just through the grapevine and will probably be total horseshite. If its Wiley then its horespoo. He has said many times that he has no interest in owning a football club Then again backing NUST and putting some money into there campaign isn't exactly owning a football club.

To be fair i would have then both kept behind after training working on their control cos both of them have a shit 1st touch!
-
Because they were BOTH scoring. Play your best team not your best players. If Lovenkrands is scoring hatricks with Carroll as his partner I couldn't care less if Carroll doesn't score, he does his job well which helps Lovenkrands. Ameobi isn't as unselfish. How does he help Lovenkrands? He's a hinderance to team. If you think he's a hindrence to the team then you haven't seen many matches this season. I'll be the first to admit that he should be gettting more goals and he can improve certain parts of his game but he's a young lad who does a cracking job at both ends of the pitch, numerous times each game he gets great clearing headers when back defending at set pieces and while not scoring his presence causes problems and he gets valuable asssits, such as the two at Barnsley, i'd hardly call him a hindrence when we were away at Sheff Utd when he was battling away with Morgan. You now and again make some good points but you don't half come out with some crap! ;-)

i would take the 2 icelandic players from Reading, Siggurdsson looks a good midfielder and only 21 and the lad that played right back. Don't think they would be that expensive.
-
At least the kids are winning in the youth cup, 2 up at half time away at Reading, Inman and Airey with the goals.
-
prefer him to be kept back for the much bigger game next Monday, i wouldn't have played Jose and Jonas either, i'd keep them back for the west brom game. 3 points are more important.

Who's to say he did put £20m in? Coming from proven serial liar Llambias???
-
Why don't you offer to get involved at the top level? Seriously. They'd be over the moon to have any assistance people can give. Why would he want to do that when he can just sit and hide behind a computer and jump on any mistake and have a go! Which applies to quite a few on here.
-
Can't believe that ridiculous £7m profit quote and can't really see the point of that survey but i'm still willing to lend my support to they're campaign. Think Friday could be a pivotal day though when the new announcements are made and could be make or break for many people.

i'm loving the black and white daft book, bought it at the weekend, had hoped Santa would've got me it but he didn't! Looking forward to the end of the year when the follow up book comes out, 1985-1989, think i'll like that even more as i'll have been to those games, this one is just before my time really, KK's debut was my first game, couldn't see anything mind and apart from a couple of games that season it wasn't until the promotion season and Beardsleys arrival when i then got my season ticket in the family end paddock. Stood next to old Stevie Charlton every home game or as me and my mate called him "feed the lions", he used to stand and poke his toffees thru the fences saying feed the lions, as 2 ten year olds we found this hilarious.
-
To be fair we didn't, he came on loan, we wanted to make it permanent, his team in France, can't remember who, Metz or Lyon i think wouldn't sell, 6 months later Tigana managed to sign him for Fulham.
-
i'm amazed that no one has got Feyenoord away as their best away game, nevermind game of the decade, thats up there as game of my lifetime.
-
Aye, that's how I remember it as well. Colin West scored for the filth and they had two sent off ref was labelled racist because the two sent off were dar...coloured! Anyone remember who they were? One spent time on loan at SJP iirc. Howard Gayle and Gary Bennett were the two that got sent off for them. Think Beardsley missed a pen as well as scoring 3 goals.
-
Gerrard is a class player but how can he be in the team and Kaka who was shortlisted as one of the 5 candidates for the player of the year not make the team??
-
I would love to know who the Boro scout was who had been to watch NUFC and reported back to Strachan that they should send most of there attacks down there right hand side, they constantly knocked balls down their right hand channel, normally for Lita but they were playing to where our 2 best players were, Colo and Jose who also had Jonas to help him, madness. Anyone watching us in the last 6 games or so will know that Colo and Jose are playing brilliantly.
-
Dyer injured again!!! tonight was his first start in 4 months.......
-
i can remember us signing him but can't remember him doing anything of note on the pitch!!
-
Any news on Enrique?? was he injured when he was subbed on Saturday?
-
Shola if fit up front with Carroll, Nolan back in for Butt and Guthrie/Raylor in on the right for pancake. Jonas left and normal back 4. If there's any doubt with Shola though, save him for the Boro game as he always scores against the Boro!!
-
Billy Whitehurst should be able to sort him out. No bother! haha Big Billy would flatten David Haye, if he went to sort AC out Andy would crap himself!
