Blaydon races would go on long enough if people sang the right words and sang the whole thing!! or even 2 or 3 verses.

2 or 4 games after they won the cup in 73, played a couple of rounds in the cup winners cup.

Jose's passing was excellent, especially the couple of through balls he put through but thought his crossing was poor, currently his weakest part of his game, if he can improve his crossing then he's going to be some player!

Might have already been said but we can all but win the league on Saturday, if we beat Blackpool and Donny beat WBA then we are 9 points clear of WBA with a much better goal diff and they will only have 3 games left.

i'm trying to think of the last time i was part of a pitch invasion, think it must've been down at Grimsby when we won promotion, what a trip that was!! lol

i think we'll see Guthrie, Routledge, Jonas, Carroll and Loven all come back into the starting line up. Depending on how Jose is after his recent injury we may see him rested as well with either Kadar or Ryan Taylor replacing him although think the back 4 will still the same unless one of them has picked up a knock.

i'm fully expecting to see Krul, Kadar and Vuckic playing for BIG clubs in the champions league in the next few years all without getting a decent run of games for NUFC.

I take it you dont know about Ranger's reputation on here, then? yes i know about his reputation on here and i've seen enough of him watching him play for the academy, reserve and first team to know that he'll struggle to do more for NUFC than Shola has. I think its quite funny people are saying Shola can't cut it in the PL when he already has, he's scored goals in the PL and in europe for NUFC. Shola's problem is he can never stay fit long enough to get a decent run of games. When he's injury free he's definately good enough for the PL.

i'm amazed people are voting Ranger ahead of Shola, just ludicrous.

We have 2 home games left after the youth cup semi but they are also midweek games, against Bolton and Everton.

The Under 18's lost 4-1 at home to Forest this afternoon, not the best warm up before the youth cup semi final, in saying that the likes of Dummett, Inman, Airey, Ameobi, Folan weren't playing. Also the game saw the return of Haris Vukcic, he came off the bench to play the last 20 mins.

Seb Larrson is available on a bosman from Birmingham, i'd definately be looking to snap him up.

Boro would be wanting around £6-8m for Wheater.

would prefer Monday, be good to clinch it at home. just noticed as well that WBA play Leicester on Friday tea time, thats a tough game for them, can see another draw for them so hopefully after another win for us at Peterborough we can stretch the lead again over them.

where was he when he's been caught on camera? Why's the daft sod been out and about, surely after the club have done a pretty good job de-fusing the situation and playing it down and out the papers he should've been laying low until his injuries have heeled(or at least had the bandages removed).

Surely Carroll is innocent till proven guilty! the club are having an internal investigation but haven't felt the need to suspend him while they carry out the investigation so as a result if he's fit to play he should play.

Anyone heard anything? i just switched toon talk on and missed what they were saying, think i heard Butts name mentioned. They now say they can't talk about it as its serious and there's an investigation going on, reckon it'll all come out later in the week. Steve Brenner came on after and also said he couldn't talk about it!

more concered about the fact he will be in prison its ok, his courtcase is at the end of the season, if he gets sent down it'll be in the summer, he'll be released in time for pre season training! ;-)

Kept his unbeaten run going as well, he's yet to be on the losing side when he's played for us.
